Totally agree , I love the gradual process of him changing, the subtle differences and I hope we see more of that going into S6..

I never said that I expected Rumple to change overnight and I don't like the implication that I did say that; I simply do not think he will be working with the EQ.

I'm not sure what you referred to in the prior thread, Seamstress, but 5x14 was a Rumple centric, not Regina

And I don't like the implication that I said Rumple will regress/be evil when that's not what said at all. What I meant is actually pretty much what Raven said in that post you posted (the S1 Rumple), or what Belleislove said about Rumple doing questionable things for good reasons.

Also, I didn't say Rumple would really work with/for the EQ, only that he would make her think he does. And he'd abandon her once he gets what he wants from her. Just like he did to Peter Pan in 5b.

I'm just extremely giddy about this season and the possibilities ! I suspect that were not getting any Rumbelle in 6x03 - bah! Yes I know about studio, but it just feels like that. So far the other mains have filmed constantly - I don't want S6 to be 99% Regina and co.

I don't think there's going to be much if any of them in episode 3 either but we'll see. I really doubt it though. Hopefully the next episode will feature them more prominently.

I've noticed that Bobby always films very little for the 3rd episode of the season, and he didn't appear at all in 1x03 and 2x03 (contractual thing maybe?). Thus there isn't a lot of Belle either, so I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't see them at all in 6x03. But I believe they will be in 6x04, whether it's their centric or not.

All I want is for Rumbelle to continue to try and understand each other..

I can’t blame Belle for being scared of what Rumple could or might do as the DO since, after all he betrayed her so terribly not that long ago. It’s great that he’s accepted himself for the most part (except he needs to truly recognize the light inside of him and what goodness he’s capable of), but expecting Belle to accept that right away (as he essentially did in 5x16) is a bit unreasonable given how hurt she was and still is. By the same token, Belle needs to have faith again in Rumple, needs to take that leap of faith and realize that he’s not the same man he was in 4A. We saw them try and see things from each other’s POV in 5B and hopefully that will continue - I believe that it will and that Rumbelle will be better and stronger than ever.

I REALLY REALLY hope Rumbelle stick together while the EQ is doing whatever nasty things she’s doing. I assume she’s going to try and divide Rumbelle again - make Rumple think Belle doesn’t love him, make Belle think he’s EVIL, that he can’t be trusted around their baby. Of course, anyone believing her would be rather silly, but… I don’t know why EQ would particularly care about Rumbelle being apart again, admittedly; I JUST don’t want them apart for more than several episodes of S6 - not AGAIN.

I wonder if he'll deliver the Rumbelle's baby? Or at least be Belle's Doctor. I love all the characters from literature so I'm looking forward to see what they do.

Although of course my first priority is a certain deal maker and librarian.

Even before Rumple became the Dark One, he was willing to do anything for family...;
when the Seer wouldn’t give him the information he sought about his child, he got angry and threatened to withhold water from her. He actually reminded me of Gold in that scene; that deep desire to protect his family has always been there, borne out of his immense capacity to love.

It’s this fierceness, this willingness to do anything - even if it’s bad/iffy/not particularly heroic, whatever - that Belle loves (obviously among many other things). She’s still frightened of what he is capable of doing as the DO now because of 4A (she never was before), but she’s going to realize that Rumple’s desire and ability to make her feel safe, to comfort her with the knowledge that he will always protect her (i.e.: the S1 shop reunion scene, the Outsider library scene when he places his coat around her shoulders and promises that she has nothing to fear now that he is here….) is extremely important to her. I hope she tells him this because he has always wanted to be her hero, and his ability to protect his Belle, his wife, his True Love, and now their baby makes him feel good about himself.

If he's in an early episode, for just the one episode, he can't.........but who knows if he'll be back?

Still, as long as he's here, this might be a good time for Belle to have a doctor's appointment......if she and Rumple are back in SB by this time. IF they are, and if they aren't together, it might be very angsty if he is there for the appointment, with them ........well, I can't express it as well as this post does. I'm already crying though - I don't really want this, because it would hurt.....but on the other hand, it would be amazing storytelling:
