Scott ღ Tessa #102 ~ Because what Scott said to Tessa before the FD is worth all the gold in the world!
Welcome to the Scott&Tessa thread! . . . . .
Our favourite programs . . . . . . . . Olympic Champions World Champions . . . . . In 2003-2004 season, fourteen-year old Virtue and sixteen-year old Moir made their debut on the ISU Junior Grand Prix circuit. They placed 4th at the event in Croatia and 6th in Slovakia. At the 2004 Canadian Figure Skating Championships, they won the Junior title, qualifying them for the 2004 World Junior Figure Skating Championships, where they placed 11th. They skated to Russian Medley choreographed by their future coach Marina Zoueva and Tutti Frutti. Canadian commentators were gushing about this remarkable new couple, calling them the new Bourne and Kraatz. Coached by Paul MacIntosh and Suzanne Killing, Virtue and Moir were quickly making themselves known in the figure skating world for their intricate footwork and incredible skating abilities. . . . . . “All of a sudden, one day I woke up and ice dance and T e s s a ... that was my whole life.” . . . . . - Bring Me Flowers - - Jump Then Fall- - Mary's Song - - Sway - - Open Your Eyes To Love - - You'll Be in My Heart - - The Way - - Two Is Better Than One - - Soulmate - - Fever - - We're Dancing - - Why Don't You & I - - Forever - - Grace - - Vanilla Twilight - - All We Are - - Crazy For This Girl - - Come on Get Higher - - At The Beginning - - Possibly, Maybe - - Best Days - - Gravity - - One Moment More - - Awake - - Amazed - - The Day I Fall in Love - - Super Duper Cute - - High - - Kiss the Rain - - Around You - - Cosmic Love - - Attractive Tango - - Northern Sky - - There's Too Much Love - - Journey to Gold - - Fireflies - - Starry Eyed - - I Wanna Hold Your Hand - - You Can - - Evacuate The Dance Floor - - May I -

Bringing over photos from the Ilderton Skating Club fb page. Tessa and Scott attended the Ice Revue 2013 celebrating the club's 40th anniversary.
Future commentators, perhaps? With their adorable fans lol Alma and Sheri(?) are unimpressed. |

I just wanted to bring this over from the previous thread. Even if you're vehemently opposed to the idea that Tessa was pregnant, IceDanceFan1994 makes some really valid points and it should be read with an open mind.
(Besides, a pregnancy and a child explains a lot of weirdness...just sayin') Quote:

There are other things as well, that I admit could be explained by Tessa's health etc but a baby also fits. Hesitation to officially commit to the 11-12 season, taking long weekends, five days over the Christmas break this past year, for example. |

does anyone know if i have to like contact a mod to change the title?:confused i still think its impossible thattessa was pregnant. i think she gained weight in 2010 because she started eating meat. remember in the summer of 2010 it said on her website that she was a vegetarian but on her 21st birthday she tried steak? then after that we have video of her saying that tim hortons blt or whatever is her favorite meal and then we have that london video of her making and eating a turkey burger. so yeah maybe she stopped being a vegetarian because of her injury? and her doctor told her to do so? cecs can really take a toll on a person's body. __________________

As it's been pointed out before, Tessa kept saying how great it was that she could work out again and condition her body. By the time December rolled around, she'd been conditioning her body for what? Two months? Great results, Tess. I'd fire that trainer if I were you... |

Also, look at it from the angle of the story given to the press. They claimed that they found at HPC 2010 that Tessa's CECS was back and she'd need more surgery. They claimed they'd originally planned to wait until the 10-11 season was over, but then decided in early October to do the surgery then. Here's the thing; if you go by that, when we saw them at ATS LA, it would have been less than a month from Skate Canada and the start of their competitive season, yet Tessa was nowhere near fighting weight for a figure skater. Then, she continued to gain weight from there, despite the claims that she was finally able to hit the gym and that they'd be back for the latter part of the season for Nationals, 4CC, and Worlds. Knowing they were planning to compete, Tessa would have been doing everything in her power to be ready to go. She wouldn't have been continuing to gain weight. She also wouldn't have gained that weight in the first place. As for CECS takinga toll on the body, in 2008-2009 when she had her first go-round with CECS, she actually lost weight to the point she was frighteningly skinny. She didn't let herself go then, for sure. If it had simply been another go round with CECS in Fall 2010, she would have been at fighting weight for the GP series already by ATS LA and she certainly wouldn't have continued to gain weight, getting larger as the months went by. |

My gala exhibition album has been completed (I hope). There is VM's practice of Hallelujah (which I posted seperately from the group gala because that album was huge!) and then the exhibition itself.
Photo and image hosting, free photo galleries, photo editing As per usual, lighting (and in the case of the exhibition itself, distance) wreaked havoc with my camera. Movement is the other major factor (aka, it's easier to take a good photo of someone standing still), so it just goes to show you how long they held their post-dip pose given the number of pictures my camera was able to take of them in it -- because every photo posted is 'original', not the same one just reposted. I was very happy to get this shot, because as many times as I've been lucky to see the Goose live, I don't think I've ever gotten a picture of it that was useable. Seriously. The prettiest dip. (Though, admittedly, the other teams could have been doing acrobatics and I wouldn't have noticed.) Post-dip. In this one, she's just coming up out of the dip, and you can see her hand at the back of his head and the arch of her back... in other ones, you can see Scott's hand going down her arm as they start to come out of this position. __________________
