I have honestly not ever watched the youtube clips of the conversation that that quote came from. Not once. And I don't plan to start now. Too sad and I hate to here people sounding desperate (no offense to Eric but he was).

I think Eric had to be despreate he had no other choice that week, Daniele had backed him into a corner, people questioned his character and America almost ruined his game for doing what they wanted him to do.

I ended up watching the entire convo, which was rough, but even harder/more depressing was right afterwards when Jess was talking to Amber about her conversation with Eric. You could see she was having such a hard time with things and she did not want to evict him. I won't link it because it's so depressing to watch & Amber pisses me off so much, lol.

The one quote from the Jess/Amber convo that really speaks volumes is...

Jess : "I don't think he's as bad a person as everyone is making him out to be."

Uyy, I don't know if I can even wach week 5 on the replays. In a way, I want to because as a result of it, Eric & Jess grew even closer, but it was just so so brutal.

The week Eric was on the block he had a long talk with Jess in the HOH. It was reallllly sad. I did see a lot of it, and Jess did not seem like she was feeling his whole talk. I think she was confused by all of the people talking about him, but in the end, he stayed and they ended up closer than ever due to it. The worst part was seeing Jess cry and Amber just bad mouth him some more.
