My concern is that so many shows do seem to try move on like nothing happened

seems so long i've been waiting, still don't know what for, there's no point in escaping, i'm taking off my
armor, already cut to the bone, burn the maps to this place, i don't need one anyway, we're told to say
that it's better, but i know that there's little black or white, there's little wrong or right, and mostly it's both

I hate when they do that, which diminishes the overall storyline IMO.

I agree. There is no need for it. If they start something good, they should finish it properly.

It's not like they can go back and change what happened but the not addressing something either doesn't make it go away.
