1. I hope y`all have been watching Rescue Me. This season has gotten off to a great start. Tommy`s life is even more screwed up than ever, which is hard to believe. That was cold of his brother banging his soon to be ex-wife. You knew that Tommy was going to go off when he found out about it, which he did in the last episode, but he really beat the living hell out of his bro. That was one of those asskicking that all you can say is "damn he beat the ***** of him." Of course there`s still the situation with one of his boys at the station dating his sister. You know that he`s scared *****less after seeing that beating. That episode really showcased why you shouldn`t break certain unwritten rules. Like a brother, cousin, or friend dating your ex. When she breaks up with you, she`s breaking up with everyone else. Of course there`s the rare occuasion of having a secret affair if she`s really hot, but for the most part i`m against it.

2. You know i`ve been doing some thinking about what i`m about to talk about. A while back i again saw the spring break episode where Paris and Rory had their first kiss. After seeing it again, i thought it was good, but not quite to my liking. Which has lead to me on the subject of which hotties would we like to see Alexis kiss in a future project. Of course their are certain criterias that has to be meet like at least one of their characters to be gay or bi, the kiss has to be very passionate with some tongue action, and clothes has to come off. Anyway here`s my list of hotties that u like to see Alexis kiss in a future project in no particular order:

1. Amber Tamblyn - Okay Amber is at the top of my list. Those two really have chemistry between them. If Alexis were to date a chick, then Amber would be the one.

2. Maggie Grace - From what i saw in the recent candid pics of them together, Maggie was a little more friendly with Alexis, if you know what i mean.

3. Brittany Snow - It sounds odd of me naming Brittany, but i think that she would be perfect for one of those opposite attract projects with the privlege girl hooking up with the girl from the wrong side of town.

4. Arielle Krebble - Oh this was too easy, especially since a while back that i likely suggested that Dean should`ve had a threesome with Rory and Lindsay. :evil_grin: Of course it would be even better since it`s just the two ladies.

5. Kate Walsh(Addison from Grey`s Anatomy) - We need an older hottie to throw in. She could be the hot, disgruntled divorcee who`s seeking new adventure.

This thread really falls too fast. Easy to lose track of it.

1) Rescue Me of course is absolute brilliance. I'm not shocked in the least that Tommy's brother was sleeping with his ex-wife. In fact I've been expecting it since season 1. As far as the beatdown. Tommy of course let him have it. Can't say he didn't have it coming. Especially since he's always had a superiority complex he rubbed in Tommy's nose.

Also he seemed a bit disingenuous with his handling of the divorce settlement. Tommy gets to keep the apartment? Isn't that apartment in Tommy's father's name anyway? When the guy sleeping with your ex is handling the "negotiations" you KNOW you're getting screwed.

The probie would be well advised to RUN from Tommy's sister after seeing what he did to his own brother.

2) Sopranos has been dull. We waited this long for this?

3) Big Love on the other hand has been good. Hope it comes back for another season.

4) Huff I have backlogged on my Tivo. Just can't quite seem to get into it. Especially since Misti Traya isn't there.

5) I'm psyched about Deadwood coming back. And damn HBO for doing the show in.

6) Speaking of Brittany Snow. John Tucker must die looks awful but I think I might have to see it anyway. A pic and a vid someone else did. Brittany is still over dressed but making progress.

7) It's of course about time Rory experimented some more. And those are fine suggestions. Mia Kirshner would be good as a young college professor who opens Rory's eyes to new a world of possibilities.

Lindsay I'd like just as a way to pick Dean. His two ex's hook up and leave him out in the cold. But maybe Rory could hook up with Dean's sister too?

But of course of Lauren Graham has to top any list. Just for the naughtiness of it.

8) I got to meet Laura Breckenridge at a film festival that premiered Loving Annabelle in NY. Really pretty and really nice and really sweet. Since her show is cancelled she's going back to Princeton. So you can add smart to that list.

Movie itself was quite good. Subject matter of course is what interested me. Lesbian trysts at a Catholic boarding school.

9) My monitor kinda blew up which bites. Luckily under warranty. Have to see what they send back to me.

1. Yeah that dude was such a hypocrite. That beating he got from Tommy was karma at work. Also Sean was so scared being alone with Tommy in last night`s episode. I thought he was going to piss in his pants. Of course he`s finally going to tell Tommy next week and it`s gonna get ugly.

2. I`m really missing HBO right now, especially with the new season of Entourage starting up. I really need to move somewhere where the digital cable rates aren`t so high. Of course thankfully we can watch the episode over at HBO.com.

3. Brittany looks very tasty in those undies. Red is a nice color on her. Hopefully she`ll progress from this by showing us her goodies.

4. Mia Kirshner would be so great as a potential love interest for Rory. Mia is one of those ladies that just oozes sex appeal. Of course she has to be Rory`s supervisor at the newspaper, which i think is a better role than professor. Also Dean`s sister hooking up with Rory would be nice to see, that is if Scout isn`t in any more trouble or still acting. Also i would love to see Eva Amurri has a potential love interest. If she does girl on girl action as good as her mom did in The Hunger, then i`m all for seeing it, especially Alexis.

5. Alexis and Lauren kissing would be so hot that it would melt anyone`s TV. Of course it could be for the DVD only. It`s no secret that they have such great chemistry between them. I was looking at some promo pics of them together from season past and i`ve noticed that they weren`t so close together in that affectionate buddy buddy way in the last couple of seasons. However i did see a pic of them from Entertainment Weekly from back before the recent season started and i have to say that it`s the hottest pic of Alexis and Lauren together to date. I wonder how the photographer talked them into doing it? BTW have you ever seen that episode of The Family Guy where Peter, Quigmire, Cleveland, and Joe became fishermen? If you haven`t it had a funny parody of Gilmore Girls where Lorelai and Rory made out with each other, which was pretty funny.

6. I can`t believe you got to meet Laura Breckenridge. I`m so envious of you. I need to go to one of these film festivals so that i meet the actors and directors. Anyway did you get a picture with her? Also i`ve read that Laura has a boyfriend who`s a speechwriter. I don`t know whether they`re still together since the article i read about her is a few months old. Anyway Laura`s one of those chicks that`s just too good for you unless you meet certain kind of standards.

7. Loving Annabelle sounds looks it has plenty of potential.

Love Rescue Me this season. Things are really moving along.
Big Love one of my favorites. It is coming back or so I read not long ago. Hated the ending but really what did they expect??
Huff is a little off for me this season. Just not enjoying it and rumor is it won't be renewed. But rumors are just that.
VM after GG this season. Perfection. Although GG has been a bit disappointing turning soapy and all.

How are you guys feeling about L&L and Chris? I'm ready for a change. L&L got over their itch. Wonder hoe new writers will handle the storyline now.

Hey Cheryl. Glad to see you back here. Things have been slow here, but that`s been the case in the summertime over the years. As for L&L and Chris, i really hope the new writers don`t forcefeed us a triangle with them. I think that Lorelai need to get some space from those guys and be on her own for a while to reevaluate herself and her relationship with Luke and Chris.

That's my thought too. I think Luke needs to get things straight with Anna. And not in the dirty way...well, maybe the dirty way. Guess I think L&L took care of 'the itch' and now we'll see if they can make it. I'm not too opposed to Christopher hanging around. Guess I just need a good storyline since last season was the pitts for me.
I don't want a triangle but will be intersted to see if L&L stay broken up. That is if Luke even knows they are broken up. I'm sure Lorelai does though.

1) Sorry bene rather busy and until the new monitor arrived back could really only use the computer in short bursts since my old monitor was terrible and on the verge of dying itself. And unlike this one not under warranty.

3) Rescue Me of course was hilarious and twisted.

Looks like Tommy is looking to hook up with his brother's ex next episode.

And I'm still not sure what to make of what happened with Tommy and his (ex)wife. Almost seemed like rape. And if she hadn't changed her mind at the last minute he'd be in prison. But I guess it makes sense in that they have a really twisted power based relationship.

4) For now I want Lorelai with Chris. Let us learn about Chris and their past. Make him into something besides pathetic. And when they break up have it be amiable. As far as Lorelai getting back with Luke. Probably happens since it's the "mushy" way to end a series. Not that it would be a bad thing. But I do like the idea of a Luke/April spinoff which would require Lorelai to be single.

I'm hoping the finale is more about Rory and Lorelai's life and less about who they are dating, sleeping with, or marrying.

I do agree about Luke straightening things out with Anna.

5) 4400 + The Closer have been pretty good. Especially the 4400 which has become a LOT better since it actually began having a story and stopped being just about the latest freak of the week.

6) Anne Hathaway seems to have spurred a new psychiatric condition in Hollywood. Not sure why. But Stanley seems afflicted.

1. That last scene with Tommy and his ex didn`t surprise me. I knew that something like that would happen sooner or later. BTW Tommy at the sperm bank was hilarous.

2. I also like to learn more about Chris` past. However i still like to see Lorelai on her own for a while instead back with Chris. Plus i would love to see Rory spending more time with him and Gigi.

3. Also i would love to learn why Sherry left Chris and Gigi.

4. How any any hetrosexual man not be afflected by this condition. Of course i would at least try to cop a feel on Anne`s nice perky breasts instead of elbowing them.

6. New project that i`ve just heard:

The Black Dahlia is a film noir directed by Brian de Palma, adapted from the novel of the same name by James Ellroy (author of L.A. Confidential). It is based on the real unsolved murder of aspiring actress Elizabeth Short, who was nicknamed "The Black Dahlia" because she always dressed in black in Los Angeles in 1947. The movie stars Josh Hartnett, Scarlett Johansson, Aaron Eckhart, Hilary Swank, Mia Kirshner, Rose McGowan, Fiona Shaw, Gregg Henry, Jemima Rooper, Joey Slotnick and many others and should be released in the fall.

This project has a lot of potential with the cast and Brian De Palma directing it. It would be a nice refreshing change of pace from the usual cookie cutter movies. Plus i have to say it`s hotties galore in it with Mia, Scarlett, and Rose in it.

1. I`m with you on Alexis needing to move closer.

2. Interesting pic there. I`d much rather see Kirsten in a remake of The Hunger. Hollywood is doing so many remakes these days, why not do that. Besides it`s time we get to see Kirsten do some girl on girl action onscreen.

3. It`s Always Sunny In Philadelphia is back with a new season. If you`ve missed it, the only things to describe them are the guys acting like they`re handicapped to get chicks and them making a jihad tape. Plus i have to say that Danny Devito is a great addition to the cast. Like i`ve said before, if you have a sick and twisted sense of humor that will offend a lot of people, then this show is for you.

4. Also i`ve gotten some inspiration from those Man Laws Miller Lite commericals for a new feature here, which is Luke`s Diner Man Laws. Here`s the first one i`ve thought of:

#1. Never watch any episode of Gilmore Girls with your friends. You will get made of fun unmercifully by them.

Anyone else venture over to TWOP to join in the talk about Resuce Me. Interesting... I love it when a writer comes in to put forth his intent.

I have no problem with Chris and Lorelai having a go at something. But wow is that an unpopular opinion. I guess if you ship L&L it has to be that or nothing. I'm going for the whole story this season. I truly am excited to see where the new writers take all of this.

I really think David and Lauren have a special connection. They really spark for me when they have a scene.

1. I haven`t been over to that thread yet. What`s the Rescue Me writer`s SN?

2. I would be for Chris and Lorelai getting back together for a period of time. It`s just that it`s been done so many times. So like i`ve said before i think that Lorelai needs a little time on her own or maybe even have a fling with someone else.

3. I`ve just heard the news about Milo and Alexis breaking up. You had to know that it was inevitable with the long distance between them. However i have to say that it gives us fellas plenty of hope now that Alexis is back on the market.

1) I'll certainly leave me door unlocked in case Alexis is lonely or needs some consoling after her breakup. However I just hope the scientologists stay away. After what happened to another catholic school girl named Katie Holmes I worry.

2) I've heard about that on TWOP. Which surprises me considering they closed their Rescue Me board.

I've read a few columns that have attacked the show for the Tommy / Janet thing misinterpreting it as rape. But I do understand the discomfort since Tommy probably does not have the radar despite all their power games to determine when she really is fighting him at the moment of truth. And being the stupid moron he is he could have easily ended up in jail.

3) Speaking of Rescue Me. Damn life bites for Franco losing his kid like that.

4) The eps of It's Sunny in Philadelphia have been good so far. That jihad video was hilarious. Good luck explaining that one away. However my favorite is still " Underage Drinking: A National Concern."

Danny Devito is fine as long as he stays in the background and doesn't dominate the show. Which I'm afraid he might. I still remember the movie Hoffa which was written so that Danny's character was practically more important than Hoffa himself. Course that might have something to do with the director.

5) 4400 has been great this season. The show has really been picking up since the end of last season. And they added Megalyn Echikunwoke who I'm rather fond of. Might remember her as David Palmer's daughter in 24. Has a really interesting and varied ethnic background which I like.

6) In case you haven't read this. Can't make this stuff up. Certain things you shouldn't do while driving.

7) Doesn't look like Sarah Shahi is coming back. Was hoping they'd fine room for her after her lame comedy bit the dust. Also noticed that season 3 eps are started to get posted in HD. Going to have to grab those and cap them.

3. I do agree with you about Danny Devito. As long as they let him have his spots on the show, i`m fine with it.

4. That is pretty bad. Why couldn`t he get a cab and take some stripper home with him like a lot of other NBA players. That`s something he`s going hear about the rest of his life.

5. Damn i was hoping Sarah would be back. However i`m glad to hear about the season 3 episodes being in HD, which means we get a better view of the ladies, especially Mia.

6. Lastly i like to add a couple of new entries to Luke`s Diner Man Law.

#2 Don`t have your Gilmore Girls DVDs in view for your male friends to see, especially where you keep all your DVDs.

However in case if it`s seen, tell them that it`s a gift for your girlfriend, mom, sister, or any other female relative. That way it`ll quickly end any discussion of it, unless it turns into either how hot Alexis and Lauren are or debate who`s hotter between those two.

#3 The only time to say that you`re a fan of Gilmore Girls is when you meet Alexis, Lauren, Keiko, and Liza in person.

Saying this will score plenty of points with them right away.
