It probably shouldn't have happened though...because it was ultimately anti-climatic. They should have waited until they were ready to "pull the trigger" and who knows if they ever will be. They could tease the ship until kingdom come if they want. I just PERSONALLY won't be around to see it. I'll always love them though...but last year I LOVED the entire show with my heart and now it's just devolved into a hot mess. It's sad. I wasted so much time championing this show and now I wonder why I even bothered. I really thought this show was different, but it's ultimately the same as every other CW show.

It should not have happened. It did not bring them closer together. It did not build a relationship between them. I don't even write fanfics and there's so many ways this "She did it to save, Ace" thing could have gone without even being a full blown romance yet. Building something strong between them because of the arc doesn't take away from the show as a whole or Nancy as the lead character. Since it sounds like certain people in the fan base don't understand that part. You felt so good about S1 because it was good. It wasn't HBO level writing
but it was great for this show. It showed promise. I still haven't seen the episode yet. I know, but I will get to it. Last month I had 5 episodes on the DVR to watch. I may end up watching this episode and the penultimate back to back because I have work to do today and two appointments on Monday and Tuesday.
I'm going to rewatch as soon as this game is over. Of course now it's extra innings.
