I'm curious about Mandy. We really didn't see much of her in 2x01.

Also, where is The Fish? Will he make an appearance or will his sister be the only fish in the pond?


Oh and why does the description say "young girls" when they're clearly high school students in the promo?? Shouldn't they have used the word "teens" instead?

I'm also curious to see her. I'm not sure if the Fish will show up. The promo made it look like he's not there but the promos have been misleading before as we saw last episode.

Okay that bothered me I totally thought they would be like little kids based on the episode description.

And yes! When I first read the episode description...I'm like okay...maybe they're like middle-schoolers?? But then I saw the promo and I'm like...those are high school students! Not pre-teens! "Young girls"...who is writing these descriptions?!?!

They do need someone new writing the descriptions Also my fantasy of a little Nancy fangirl is crushed (which I think would be super cute, bonus points if she asks about Ace) (for now)

As for Mandy and Ace...my prediction is they bond over computers somehow. Maybe she knows what hacking trick he's using. I remember in 2x01, she and The Fish had contacted Nancy via some ~illegal app, so I bet she's good with tech (because I doubt The Fish is). Ace finds that attractive, so maybe he'll ask her out at the end of the episode. Not sure how serious this relationship will end up being. I think this pairing is just a means to an end (because I think by the end of it, he'll realize his feelings for Nancy). I also don't trust either of the Bobbsey twins tbh.

Nancy/The Fish will probably be your standard FWB relationship where they are both on the same page. I'm guessing she will lean into those feelings of inadequacy/being emotionally unavailable and figure if she's just honest about using sex to feel good, there won't be any grander expectations in the relationship...and it's more of a quid pro quo type of thing. Of course eventually, she'll realize she wants want and deserves more...and she already knows who that is.

I am curious about how serious it will be. I'm hoping for it to be kind of Laura Tandy-esque. Of course I want him and Nancy to be endgame but I wonder how long that will be.

Yeah I think Nancy and the Fish will be FWBs like her other relationships. And I feel like he'll be pretty down for that. But it will lead her to something better *coughs* with Ace

I liked Laura. She was only there for like 4 episodes and helped expand Ace's backstory a bit. She always didn't prevent him from having scenes with everyone else.

We just don't have enough information on the Mandy/Ace thing. Have to wait and see how it plays out in the episode...but I hope it's not really serious...because I won't buy it. I don't mind if they casually date for a few episodes, but I really don't trust her or her brother.

Only this time, The Fish will know exactly what the relationship is all about. Guys like Nick and Owen wanted something more serious. I don't think The Fish wants that kind of relationship, but we'll see.

I liked Laura too. If the Mandy storyline is like that I think I'll be okay with it.

Yeah I feel like he'll know it's casual and be down with it. It just seems like his vibe.

I think both of these relationships will move pretty quickly in terms of whatever they're going to ultimately be. There's only 12 episodes left in the season and one of them is the Tom Swift episode. So I'm guessing it's going to be fairly Bobbsey heavy in the next batch of episodes (lucky us! ).

I just hope they don't take over the show or monopolize Nancy and Ace's screentime. They can have their separate scenes with them or whatever, but I will be upset if it takes away from any Nancy/Ace scenes or Drew Crew scenes. I don't care about the Bobbseys. They can be there, but their presence better not hurt the show.

I guess that makes sense (also it's the CW ) Not super thrilled about all the Bobbsey content but I guess we'll just have to see how it impacts the show. I really hope they don't take too much time away from Ace and Nancy or mess up the Drew Crew's dynamic.

I seriously hope not either. This show has been so good, especially lately, about keeping The Drew Crews's friendship intact. I don't want it to be like other shows where certain characters are pushed to the side due to certain plots. I don't want this show to be like other shows who it so, so poorly.

Have to wait and see how many scenes the Bobbseys actually have. If they're used to further Nancy/Ace's relationship...I'm all for it...but hopefully there is a balance and nothing is loss in the process.
