Here is a quick update from the final warmup events before Roland Garros.
On the men's side, Nole won the Belgrade Open and Sebastian Korda won the Emilia-Romagna Open. Meanwhile on the ladies' side, Barbora Krejcikova won the Internationaux de Strasbourg. So that's the story on the final warmup events. Next up on the schedule will be the French Open. In fact the second Grand Slam of the year got underway yesterday and it had some notable results as Pablo Andujar upset Dominic Thiem 4-6, 5-7, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4; Anhelina Kalinina upset Angelique Kerber 6-2, 6-4 and Sasha Zverev defeated Oscar Otte 3-6, 3-6, 6-2, 6-2, 6-0. Things were more orderly for the most part in some of the other matches as Naomi Osaka, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Aryna Sabalenka, Fabio Fognini and Roberto Bautista Agut won their matches in straight sets, while Vika defeated former champion Svetlana Kuznetsova 6-4, 2-6, 6-3 and Madison Keys defeated Oceane Dodin 6-3, 3-6, 6-1. Coming up later today; Iga Swiatek will begin her quest to repeat as champion as she will take on Kaja Juvan in the first match at Court Philippe Chatrier, while former champions Fed, Serena Williams and Garbine Muguruza will also be in action along with Dmitry Medvedev, Belinda Bencic and Bianca Andreescu. __________________

Thanks, Rod!
It was a shock to see Thiem lose. He was my guess to win the title. My next guess is Tsitsipas. My guess for the Women's title is Sabalenka. __________________

I haven't been keeping keeping up. I need to see who Nadal plays next. Osaka is out of Roland Garros I know. She only played in 1 match there this time.

I hope Rafa wins it all again. He's my favorite at any tournament.
For the ladies, I would love to see Pliskova to win it all. I was floored that Thiem was out in the first round. Kerber and Muguruza too! __________________

Nikki, I'd like to see Pliskova or Azarenka win. In the Men's, I'd like Khachanov, Medvedev or Tsitsipas to win. Nadal plays Richard Gasquet next. __________________

It's a shame that Khachanov lost. I like Nishikori though, so it's nice that he's still in it.
Yes, there are a lot of five set matches. __________________

I'm a fan of Gasquet & he has a chance to win vs. Nadal.
