My dad made up this whole, elaborate lie this morning that the Yankees had traded Jason Giambi for two starting pitchers and a new catcher. He said that Jorge had injured himself and was out for the season. And, stupidly, I believed him. But I kind of didn't at the same time. So I was just like, "We're going to die. We're done. Finished." And my dad goes on to agree with me and then, as he's leaving my room, goes, "I'm lying." [img]smilies/mad.gif[/img] [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] He's insane. Yuki Not really where I live, minus the three Asian friends I have (haha). But in Queens, definitely. It's just "All Korea, All the Time." Haha. I went to get my nails done yesterday at this place near where I live, and the lady there (well, all of them are) is Korean, and she always calls me Chae Won. [img]smilies/pout.gif[/img] Which is my Korean name. And I mean, I love it because it was the name my birth mother gave me, but I don't like it at the same time because it's not me. I'm Maryalice, you know? (In case anyone didn't know, I'm adopted from Seoul, South Korea. I came to NY when I was seven months old. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]) But I don't know, lol. I just smile and nod haha.
