I absolutely love watching and rewatching those first couple of episodes. Every time, it strikes me again how quickly those relationships developed - how believable they made that almost instant sense of family. You could see Walter's attraction to Paige and his affection for Ralph right from the beginning. As he said of Ralph at the end of 1.01 "He recognizes one of his own." For Walter, that applies to Paige as much as Ralph - in different ways.

Oh yeah! I'm really hoping that Tim is out of the picture for Christmas. Even if Waige aren't officially together by then, I'd like to see a Walter/Paige/Ralph Christmas - maybe a "just the 3 of them" gift exchange.

The first thing I thought of was a little miniature village with Christmas decorations - something that would remind her of the town in the valley in Dam Breakthrough. It's not very original - but I think together Walter and Ralph (with maybe a little consult with Happy) could make a really beautiful and very realistic town.

That would be great. And also with Christmas tree. Without disturbance factor Tim. Whilst I think that between Paige and Timm synonymous everything very jammed occurs.

Christmas would be a good time for Ralph to talk to Walter - or Paige - or Walter and Paige together - and let them know what he thinks of their relationship mess. In a twelve year old's terms, of course.
