How many would really forgive their sister or Oliver for what they did. She has struggled with alcholism. I am actually sick if that being used against her because it's a disease and it was going to either happen to her or Sara because their dad was one. The girl has not gotten any in two years. The last time she did she felt guilty and that sent her into in a cycle of depression. I want laurel to get more development but to me that's separate from her having a love interest. Those two things shouldn't be tied IMO. It's not like she has had a revolving door of men. She has only ever slept with two men.
I agree. Laurel is a beautiful woman. She can get a guy no problem so the writers just need to let her have one. I wouldn't mind seeing a jealous Oliver or to just see his romantic interest in her renewed. (Not that he isn't always interested )

It was pretty horrible I don't watch Arrow for the ships, though, I never have. I am interested in GA and BC and how their stories end up intertwining

I don't actually like any romantic pairing on the show. I liked Thea and Roy until they got boring. I like the idea of Quentin with either Dinah or Donna Smoak. I would seriously love to see Felicity and Diggle but I also like Diggle with his (ex)wife and Felicity with Barry or Ray. I was a huge Laurel/Tommy fan. I also didn't mind Oliver/Sara. And last but not least Laurel and Ted.

Come to think of it. I actually do like some pairings. They are just impossible.

ARROW

The three episodes following Oliver's seeming death "are among the best we've ever done. They're incredibly compelling," EP Marc Guggenheim promises. The fallout at home not only "makes it necessary" for Laurel to don the Canary costume, but also brings together characters that previously haven't shared a lot of screentime. "There's a lot of Thea and Felicity," and "[Felicity will] have some pretty big moments with Laurel as well." Diggle gets "emotional" in the first hour back, shares David Ramsey, who also hints that the H.I.V.E. storyline will be revisited. Viewers also haven't seen the last of another elite group. "We're definitely going to bring back the Suicide Squad," EP Andrew Kreisberg confirms. And though Sara's killer has been unmasked, Sin will play "a pivotal part" in that storyline in Episode 12, while Sara (Caity Lotz) and Vertigo (Peter Stormare) both appear in Episode 13. Not to be outdone, big bad Slade Wilson (Manu Bennett) returns the following week.

So far in 1a. I like this show I think Ollie is a complex character with a serious case of PTSD. I like his friendship with Diggle and Tommy. I know what happens to Tommy. I also like Laurel with Tommy. I like L/o but I do believe at that he wasent ready for a realationship but he has intense feelings for Laurel that Helena noticed. I am just worried that the shift is going to be really drastic when they do Olicity. Does Arrow feel like a different show now?

Not really. Don't listen to shippers. Olicity is there but it doesn't take over the show. Personally I like Oliver and Laurel with other people. I really liked Oliver and Sara.

Watch the show. It's good. Don't listen to shippers. They will ruin it.

That is the way I see it.

I don't think the show has necessarily changed. I just think that upping Felicity to a regular created unnecessary online drama. Her character hasn't been fleshed out all that much. They are still telling the story they want. But, fandom sort of ruins it. I get frustrated with certain things, but I still enjoy the show. Now, that might change if they eff up Laurel's BC storyline.

eta: I had so many issues with oliver and sara primiarily cause it tried to obsolve both of them of what they did to Laurel. Plus I'm not nearly as enamored with Sara as some. I grew to like her more as time went on, but that required swallowing a lot of bs.

Sara is / was definitely something else but Laurel loved her and Quentin loved her how can I not love her? She was a young girl (18?) when she went with Oliver on that boat. She was stupid and extremely selfish. But she was just 18. I can forgive her for being a stupid, selfish and self-destructive kid. We all did things we wish to take back. But then Sara paid for her crime she committed against Laurel. She paid dearly. Sara did a horrible thing but the punishment did not fit the crime and I believe that she died a hero.

But to be more on topic: the show is good. It's not Buiffy, the Vampire Slayer-good but it's still better than most other CW shows. I think it's currently the second best CW drama just behind The Flash.

The only thing that upsets me is the shipper war going on. If you can ignore that (I am trying to) then you'll enjoy the show a 100 times more.

And just like that I decided not to care about Lauriver and Olicity and their shippers anymore.

If he wasn't so handsome I just might have hated Malcolm. Damn handsome, charming evil guy.

Was it Quentin in the cop car?

It's a pretty foregone conclusion that Laurel is going to get her ass kicked, right? At least in the beginning.
