MATT RYAN REPRISES HIS ROLE
AS JOHN CONSTANTINE ON ARROW

When things take a turn for the worse with Sara (guest star Caity Lotz), Oliver (Stephen Amell) calls in a favor from an old friend who deals in the mystical, John Constantine (guest star Matt Ryan).

John Badham directed the episode written by Brian Ford Sullivan & Oscar Balderrama (#404).

I just loved the episode. By far my favorite of the season. Beating out last weeks because the Flashbacks were far more interesting because Constatitne was involved. Speaking of the Character and actor were fabulous. Ofcourse maybe it was just the accent. If they were able to get him back and incorporate him in another epiode I wouldnt mind one bit.

Crazy Sara was kind of fun to watch. Although I dont know why we needed her to always beng jumping through windows. It sure seemed like a whole lot.

Oliver being funny again with his comment about the dude being old enough to Vote made me laugh.

Im really enjoying Lance this season. I will miss him so much if hes in the grave. Lance and Oliver relationship is probaly one of the best things about this season. I dont think i can get enough. Dig and Lance were fun to see on screen together. Id almost love a story line where DIg joins the police force.

I absolutely adored the Oliver/Felicity couch scene. I love seeing them both being open about their feelings. Felicity about Ray and Oliver about how much he misses his partents and Tommy. Like a lot of couples they brought their work life home . Well the vigilante work life.

However, the best scenes for me were actually both Laurel/Oliver scenes. The one at the hospital and the one at the end at his campaign offices. The hospital scene was much needed on Laurels part. SHe still had a lot of anger toward Oliver and she needed to get that off her chest. Im not sure i agree with her reasoning for keeping Sara secret espeocally once she escaped but I think Laurel felt all alone and tried to handle it by herself. In the end she was in so much turmoil over Sara that she was willing to fix the misatke she made. We have seen Oliver in varying degrees of that position as well. The ending scene with them was the best for me. It was nice of them remebering they are suppose to be frineds and suppose to be supporitve of one another no matter whatever crap they had put each other through. Or maybe it was just nice to see Laurel actually smile. How longs it been? seaon one with Tommy? feels that way... maybe thats why i loved those two so much.

The only problem is how will Laurel feel when she finds out about her Dad and Darhk? She has to be angry once again that she was left in the dark when Oliver/Felicity/Diggle all knew.

Also really enjoyed the Thea/Laurel hospital scene and the Ollie/Thea ending scene. Olivers face when Thea said Constatine was yummy. just priceless.

Oh can we talk about how great that flashback cut from getting punched in the face to getting his make up done was? I laughed out loud. Im not sure if i was suppose to be that ammused by it but i was.

Oh and Constatine just needing a dead peacock feather to scratch his back. Was that a shot at NBC?

One quetion though? When did the club close down? I mean it did look closed up, correct? And Thea said she owned a bar and she couldnt even drink. Past tense. Are we suppose to assume that it got closed down because the lair was discovered unerneath it? or perhaps it was struggling like all the other business in Starling? I wish this would be addressed. I mean i realize Thea had a lot going on at the end of season 3 to pribably deal with the club so maybe she just let it go under. THe lack of information though is bugging me.

- Man its so great having Sara back

- Phew about needing to distance himself from Laurel due to wanting to run for Mayor

- JOHN CONSTANTINE so this is how he'll learnt about Constantine

- Laurel not telling her father about Sara escaping

- EWWW that was cold - double the daughters over his head

- AWWWW the workout session between Oliver and Laurel. Also love her speech to him, completely kicking his butt into gear

- OHHHHH sister fight - "SARA?"

- Oliver not exploding at the girls is amazing and absolutely love it. He's not really being judgemental but just stating the truth and not being bad about it - really impressed with how he handed that

- Quentin going to Oliver absolutely love their new partnership - then he sent Quentin to Diggle and absolutely love that we are learning how Quentin got mixed up with Damien - Diggle putting things aside

- Totally saw this coming about Sara going after Thea - what did you really think considering that Thea killed Sara - totally makes sense for Sara to go after her - still going to say that its awesome to see Caity again, miss her gorgeous self

- Oh Oliver is going to snap about the fact that Malcolm served those guys up to Thea - hope he snaps at Malcolm - Way to go Laurel! getting mad at Oliver about not telling her about what he did to Thea - she's got a point and man her saying what she did about him not seeing her as an equal

- OMFG what are you doing Lance? Oh at least he saved them and got them out of there

- Did Thea just tell Sara that she wanted Sara to kill her?

- HAHA Thea throwing in Ollie's face about him not being in charge, she can decide to do what she wants about being able to use herself as bait

- Laurel realizing what she has done is wrong pulling a gun on her sister and was willing to shot her that was a rough scene for sure

- Laurel and Oliver being the ones to go get here - absolutely love that its going to be these two - totally agree on it being there, her sister and Sara is a love of Oliver's life - plus those two can certainly fight

- Nanda Pardat? - Alright this has me curious about watching Constantine the series considering do love the movie very very much and this actor seems pretty amazing as Constantine

- OHHHHHH man getting that from Constantine about Damien

- YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS yes THANK YOU OLIVER for saying that about not having the right to get mad at anybody for keeping secrets

- WTF did Constantine just give him and that's going to be interesting

- MANNNNN adorable scene between Oliver and Laurel, he's really has changed and glad that these two are going to be mending things. Still just am a fan of them as friends

- OH MAN, what did Quentin find out about Dig's brother. That his brother was actually bad?

- Tech working for Felicity is absolutely adorable, all worked up on energy drinking - well there starts the crossing over for Ray, now that they've got Sara

Even though the pacing could've been better and ending the storyline 10 minutes before the episode ended wasn't the best decision, I enjoyed it overall.

The Laurel/Oliver hallway scene was A+ while the saving Saras soul was a D, it was way to easy/simple/plain.

But I am so glad that this storyline is over with and we don't have to deal with semi crazy Laurel who wont listen to anyone. Hopefully the writers allow her to grow from this and actually show a new improved Laurel who learns to turn to her friends for help.

Finally a really good episode again

there was soo much to love.. The Ollie/Laurel scene in the hospital.. both blew my mind away again.. I immidiately watched it again
Marc didn't promise to say this episode was for the O/L fans I mean finally all that stuff we were complaining about finally got adressed.. Laurel feeling the hipocrisy of Oliver, his ignorance towards herself. It's sad that he wouldn't show her how much her family really menas to him At least we know he does.

I loooved Thea fighting for Laurel wehen that political adviser told Ollie to distance herself from Laurel.

I love that in the end Ollie admitted he wasn't (the best) friend to Laurel.. I really hope their relationship will imrpove from now on Hell to the writers if they don't include it more

I loved Diggle and Lance Such a great duo.. Hope we'll get to see more of that..

Overlord Felicity At least they held their prommise and made this season lighter.. I really love that..

I hope they tell Laurel about her father soon.. I wish he'll do it himself She needs to know.. no more secrets, please..

We got lots of hugs I missed: Ollie and Laurel. Laurel and Quentin. Lance family.

Aaand Constantine was great.. Hope to see him again sometime.

What I thougth was a bit meh, was the "rescuing" of Sara's soul.. but compared to the brilliancy of the rest of the episode I won't complain much about it..

I looooved this episode all the Lauriver scenes ughh I've been longing for those. it was great that Laurel finally told Oliver how she felt, that he doesn't see her as an equal and he really thinks he can do anything and make loads of mistakes but calls out others when they do the same. it wasn't fair of him. he really was being a hypocrite all this time.

I expected more from Sara's resurrection, too, but I'm not complaining cause it brought Laurel and Oliver closer. "do you trust me?" ugh and the handholding, it totally looked like a wedding ceremony well, one can dream

Oliver's campaign manager or what who wanted him to distance himself from Laurel God, I hate him. thankfully Oliver got closer to her in this ep than in a long time, so he can suck it Thea's hate towards the whole idea was nice too. first I was mad Oliver would even consider it it reminded me of that time in Friends when Emily was making Ross stay away from Rachel if he wanted to stay married to her #notgonnahappen
and when Ollie admitted in the end that he wasn't the best friend to her but wants to change that and the hug!! it was a sweet gesture he invited her to the event <3 that's exactly what I want to see on the show

also, Constantine was a great addition to the cast, I wish he stayed

I loved Laurel and Thea's scenes too. poor thing was gonna let Sara kill her if that would cure Sara but Laurel would never want that it was nice how Oliver and her were so protective of Thea ^^
the fight scenes were good, too. Sara was really damn strong, she even took Oliver down. good thing he stopped Laurel from shooting her, I mean that would've been a desperate act and she stopped her dad from doing the same but I know she only wanted to save Thea..

it sure is an episode I'll be rewatching a couple times, already have
