Red was going to be put in that prison right so somebody had already arrested Red. I don't think there was anything that Dembe could do so there was no need to convince him to stay behind I think.

Same here... Kaplan setting up Dembe is still unforgivable for me... she knew him, the person he is. And he suffered so badly after Red "killed" her and then this happens.

It's unforgivable for me too but she didn't know that Dembe felt so bad after she "died" but that still doesn't justify what she did. Maybe she used him because he didn't agree with her faking Liz's death?
