Ah, the swastika symbol.
It is more than a Nazi sign. For many years previous, it was a symbol of goodness or auspiciousness in Eastern religions. Wonder why it is used on the coin. The coin is ancient, so it could be a non Nazi symbol, and it could be good. In fact I just learned on Wiki that the swastika was adopted by Hitler in 1920. It was used as a symbol of good luck in America for a while in the early 1900's as well. |

Warehouse 13? Was that a tv show? I really enjoyed that mix up/mash up of history and fiction. And the Hitler thing was so believable too.

I think I remember reading about the series "Warehouse 13." Wasn't it sort of like X-Files, this government warehouse where all kinds of mysterious artifacts get stored? Sort of like the warehouse in Indiana Jones where the Ark ends up...?
Only now discovered this fantastic resource at NBC/Grimm: Grimm Guide Click on the "Stories" tab to the right to learn about the ancient tales that inspired each episode. Also, "Profiles" tab for insight on the creatures. __________________

Thanks for that link! That is really cool they put so much information about the tales and creatures, as most of them we are not all that familiar with, at least that is the case with me!

So am I, Patty! It will be a lot of fun to dig into the stories they tell and find the source. This thread should be very popular then!
