Chuck is not the greatest character ever. That honor IMO goes to Wesley of BTVS and Angel.

Chuck and Blair were the greatest characters of Gossip Girl though.

personally i prefer jenny but hey, to each their own.

i don't think any gg character would fall under the greatest of all time though.

The writers couldn't write proper characterization. Most of the characters went OOC at least twice.

Jess has a show coming out in summer on USA where she's a nurse. So it's good to see others on the show getting roles.

Well, of all shows that you have ever watch whom would you say was the greatest character?

With the point of Wesley I was trying to say that he had the most in depth character development throughout the years. So he became the greatest character IMO.

The girl who left! I always found Jenny to be a spoiled selfish girl. Even more so than those that actually had money.


I never really thought about Dan. He just was always kind of blah.. for me...

Chuck is the ONLY GG character who is in the 99 GREATEST characters of TV, he is #59. Normally Blair also gets in this lists along with Chuck I think Buffy was in the list too but it is a long list, I might be wrong, but I don't remember Wesley and Angel.

And I do agree with you that Chuck and Blair were the greatest characters of GG and there wouldn't be GG if it weren't for them even imo, one of the greatest couples of all times too Which is for the zillionth time referred as in this article below recently too

i just like jenny. i know she was a brat but i don't care. i found her interesting.

cb were great in season 1 and parts of 2 but after that no, they were terrible together and abusive. but again, to each their own.

I can honestly say I never been so turned on by a woman online before...

While I do disagree with some of those choices. I would love to just sit on a couch watch tv and discuss characters for hours with you.

As for being abusive maybe that is the case but at least it was equal, they were both that way to each other. Perhaps Chuck and Blair is the only case where two wrongs actually did make a right.

i'm a tv junkie thats for sure!

that is true but i just got so tired of it by the end of the series. i think i just didnt like the back and forth. it was ridiculous. i would have preferred a longer break or seeing them just be good friends for a while. but i think the writers kind of screwed themselves because everyone loved them so they had no other choice even if they wanted to to change things.

Thank you for mentioning the equality on CB's part however I disagree about the abusive part obviously. Also if some fans could have dropped the need to be *right* in their "dislike" while trying to make a so called moral justification for THEIR opinion over a FICTIONAL couple while totally condoning the wrongs of their ship and character in preference in one of the most corrupted TV shows ever, we could have better convos...
