I may watch his new show as well, I hated Sex in the City, but I really like Austin and Annasophia Robb, so maybe I'll like The Carrie Diaries.

I know the pilot filmed in NYC, but the show takes place in Manhattan and to be honest, I think it's better if it films there because it makes it more authentic. Plus in SATC Manhattan was a character, not just a place.
I could go head to head against it. That would be very funny. |

Gosh, what's funny is that he can really pass for a teen. I know 21 is that far away from the teen years anyway, but when I think about it compared to other shows, like the original 90210, those kids definitely looked their true age of the time, even though they were playing teens. Yeah, I don't know how you'd buy Luke Perry or Ian Ziering as a teen. Just no way. Although Katie and Lucas pull it off well considering Lucas is turning 28 and Katie is turning 26. And then Vanessa and Sean are still teens. Well, Vanessa is only for another month or so. |

Wow. I wasn't even aware that they were that old! They sure do pass, though, still - moreso than Luke or Ian did. I wonder what kind of character Austin will be playing though on his new show? The bad boy type or the good guy?! Hm. __________________

Yeah, they definitely pass.
He's playing Carrie's love interest. No idea if he's bad, but I'm sure he'll have some badness to him. It should be interesting because it's set in '84. Austin wasn't even born yet. |
