Favorite Earth-Born Female Character

Easy decision for me, as she's one of the few grounders I can actually stand.
Emori probably is my 10th favorite character of the series right now. Sorry
about that, Alexa. I've just liked her from the moment she appeared
on screen. She's cunning and savage but also quite adorable and innocent
at times. I like her dynamic with Murphy a great deal and look forward to
seeing her interact with other characters now that she's been up on the Ark
with them for six years. It will be interesting to see this girl who has never
felt like she belongs anywhere with any group (or with anyone other than
Murphy) suddenly have a group that she is a part of, a group that will have
to rely on each other to survive. This goes against her survivalist mentality,
so she's one of the characters whose growth I am most looking forward to.

Day 4: Favourite Earth-born male character

Lincoln

Peaceful warrior who deserved better. I'll never get over how brutal his death was. He was such a kind person, the most peaceful character on the show, a pacifist. He didn't turn to violence until he had to. He never wanted a war. He fought against it his entire life. The world was always trying to turn him into a monster but he fought against it. He questioned the way things were handled by his people which shows a lot of strength.

One of the most admirable thing was that he never used his culture or upbringing to excuse the bad things he did.

We've all got a monster inside of us, Clarke, and we're all responsible for what it does when we let it out.

Rest in pace.

LINCOLN THE FIRST GROUNDER

Lincoln no words to really describe this eternal blow for this number one character
in my heart despite that he became an angel.
Grounder original of the series it is for me the best is the nicest grounders,
of all that we saw in the 100. Obviously left too early.
So pure he is a true angel and he is now the guardian angel of Octavia
from the clouds (Linctavia eternal ♥)
Deserve better !

Day 4: Favorite Earth Born Male Character

RIP Roan. This guy was just so reasonable. He, like pretty
much every character, wanted what was best for his people, but he
recognized that being in a constant clan war wasn’t it. As a king, he
respected his allies and he was willing to work together to achieve a
common goal. And he was almost always the one to throw around
some sassy looks when sassy looks needed to be thrown around. I love
that he was the one to stop Clarke’s ascension by pointing out what half
the audience was thinking. Even though I hated to see him go, I think it
says a lot about the type of leader he was that he chose to fight in the
conclave himself rather than appointing someone else to do it for him.
And that he did not allow cheating, and didn’t turn Bellamy in for being
on the battlefield. To the very end, his reasonableness prevailed.

"The world's been trying to turn me into a monster for as long as I can remember." That one line
basically sums up this amazing character for me. Lincoln never let anyone influence who he was and I
loved that about him. Not when his people tried to punish him for siding with Skaikru, not when the
Mountain Men tried to turn him into their own personal monster, and even when Pike took over, he
never stopped doing what was right and just ... even at the expense of his own life. He put everyone
else over his own well being and never did anything out of revenge/spite ... what a precious person, too
good and too pure for this Earth. And I'll never forgive TPTB as to how his death was fleshed out
on the show because Lincoln deserved better than to go out that way. Even if he could hold his head
up high, knowing that he died in honour.
