Kris cleans up nice! He looked so freaking hot when he showed up for the 2nd time at the all girl's gym! He's trying so hard for Lux. I did like the end scene with the toast. Cute. But I wish Paige and Ryan weren't there.

The preview...kinda mad that it looks like Ryan will go off on Baze for sleeping with Paige. He didn't know Paige was Ryan's sister. He didn't do anything wrong. Paige came onto him and then burnt his bar down. I hope when Ryan finds out what she did he apologizes. Otherwise I'll be really mad.

The thing with Cate's job seems so unrealistic to me. She didn't even have to interview? Trina just hired her back even though they hate each other?

I'm already tired of the Lux/Teacher storyline. I wanted to mute their scenes. I guess I had enough of that this summer with Pretty Little Liars.

yeah I am sure Ryan will off on Baze in the beginning but Baze did use the I didn't know Cate was engaged line before and then the I didn't know she was your sister line just sounds reminiscent. And Ryan's pretty ticked off by him right now so I guess it's understandable.

The episode was alright. I felt for Cate, but she was kinda annoying me as well with all the yelling at everybody. She's fixing for an aneurysm.

Lux and her teacher... do not want. It's stale, it's wrong, it's not compelling. I don't care if they have chemistry. He's 23 and she's 16. Stick a fork in it.

It's not a lame excuse, though. He didn't know Cate was engaged...and that's all on Cate, not Baze. In that situation, he didn't do anything wrong. Just like he didn't do anything wrong with Paige. I get really tired of him getting blamed for everything. He doesn't deserve it. I would understand Ryan being ticked off about him crashing the wedding and going off on him for that, but I will be mad if he acts like sleeping with Paige is all Baze's fault

Oh man. Just when I feel I'm 100% CB, Ryan goes and gives a good speech and I'm lovin' Ryan again.

Since the beginning of this show, I've been CB but my Kerr lovin' won't allow me to totally abandon his character. Sighs.

Can you really blame the guy though? I'm no Ryan advocate by any means (TeamBaze4Life!) but see it this way -

Yeah, Baze didn't know who Paige was and Paige didn't know who Baze was so they're not at fault for that. It wasn't intentional. But Paige is his sister regardless. To me, it looks like Ryan is going into protective brother mode which I can't blame him for. I see it all the time from my own brothers despite intentions from the opposite sex. I don't know, personally I can't get mad at Ryan if he goes on an angry tirade because that's his sister.

So far I am not feeling Lux at all this season. She is making me not like her at all. The potential affair with a teacher and the cheating. This stuff should have happened maybe in the first season not now.

I loved all the family moments tonight. Baze/Lux are still my favorite relationship on the show. That car ride scene was adorable.

"I haven't seen you this dressed up since my adoption. Are we getting another kid?"

"Jones dates head cheerleaders not girls that have only been to the dentist twice."
"Well after today you're gonna have a daddy who works 9-5 at an office and a mom who stays home sniffing cleaning products. You can't get more normal. And we are going to work on that dentist situation."

I like Ryan, always have, but I'm still 100% CB. CR do nothing for me other than me thinking they're cute sometimes which is thanks to Ryan being sweet not Cate really at all.

I keep re-watching that. It was so awesomely hilarious.

One of my favorite moments was Cate, Lux, and Baze outside the school when he was getting ready to leave and kissed Lux on the head and patted Cate's head. So adorable.

I also @ Baze's face during Cate's whole "can-cer" thing.

Kris is on fire with his acting. I love Baze's dialog with all the characters and the fact that he's really going into father mode really suits him. The "I'll stay up late with you to study" thing really melted my heart.

Shiri - amazing! I love the amount of emotion and the fact that you can feel Cate's frustrations right along with her.

And about Lux, yes I agree. It's nice that she finally gets to be the kid now and all this acting out stuff is coming form an insecure place that she doesn't want her family to feel like they got a lemon for a kid, but it sucks to see the smart witty girl from season 1 turn into such a..such...I don't know...teenager. The reason I was drawn to Lux in the first place was because she always seemed to be wise beyond her years even though she would screw up here and there. Now it just seems like she's a deceitful kid that's really grinding my gears.

Math, although he still seems all self-righteous like...I'm glad he was somewhat encouraging to Baze and told him not to give up.

Ryan, he was definitely tolerable. At first, when he showed up at career day I rolled my eyes thinking he was going to be corny and whatever his plan was was going to backfire and the spotlight would fall entirely on him. But in the end it was a really nice touch to the episode. They get some brownie points!

Love the CB interaction too. Finally some co-parenting rather than seeing them struggle with their feelings for each other and yell at each other. Yeah there was bickering here and there but it was for genuine concern for Lux and it was playful rather than low blows to be hurtful.
