Thanks girls!

It's been quite the rollercoaster, for sure. Now I won't say anything anymore until we have the check up with the doctor in July, but hopefully surgery fixed the issue well enough that we won't get any more sudden scares.

I don't even know where to start to catch up with all things fandom and the likes.
Besides, the first two things that greeted me when I came online tonight were pics of Tom kissing Taylor Swift and a "spoiler" about the lead of my favorite tv show succumbing to Dracula, and I'm wondering if by any chance I'm so stressed that I'm hallucinating another reality right now. Do I even want to know more...?

It doesn't matter whether this relationship is real or PR, he can say goodbye to what's left of his privacy.

As far as blond people go, my favorite pairing for Tom remains Chris Hemsworth.

I wanted to go to the beach today but a) I'm still dead tired and there is too much noise there on week-ends, b) the weather is acting a bit crazy (sun-clouds-sun again-no wait it's cloudy again) and c) I don't remember if I've waxed my legs yet.

Crazy weather here too! We're supposed to have the wettest June since records began. Just in time for the grass court tennis season.

I just read about Anton Yelchin's death. Such a tragic accident, I truly hope he didn't suffer for long. He was so young, too.

Watching the season finale of Penny Dreadful - which was actually a series finale because why don't kick the fans in the face? It's fun! - reminded me while I should never, ever trust television series again.
I'm so angry.

But Vanessa Ives remains one of the absolute highlights among all my encounters with fictional characters.

What shows have you guys been watching lately?

I have become addicted to the ID channel which focuses on real life crime, especially murders. FBI Files, Nightmare Next Door, The Perfect Murder etc.

Nightmare Next Door sounds intriguing.

It is. It's about crimes perpetrated by someone living close by. One of the most frustrating shows is called Disappeared. It follows real life cases of missing people. Usually there is no resolution by the end. I end up looking for the cases online and usually the person is still missing.

We have something similar to that here, as well - it's called Chi L'Ha Visto? (Who Has Seen Them?). It premiered over 20 years ago, and at first it only featured requests to spread information about missing people - they show pictures, track a person's last sightings, interview friends and relatives, keep an online database, and viewers can call to say if they spotted the person somewhere. But in most recent years they've been focusing more and more on cold cases and mysterious deaths, too.

I still can't believe it. What's next - Trump president?
If people continue to listen to whoever raise their voice and preys on their fears...
