I have the final episode of The Night Manager recorded. I am enjoying that show very much.

I'll be marathoning The Night Manager soon. I love both Tom and Hugh Laurie so I hope the mini-series doesn't disappoint me.
I had started reading the novel and I didn't have the best first impression of the protagonist, but I hope they changed some bits in the tv adaptation.

Speaking of Colony - did you like the season finale?

Fran, does that mean that you haven't watched any of the new X-Files episodes, yet? I have yet to see a single one of them myself, but I first wanted to make sure they're worth my time before I go through the pain of downloading them.

No, not yet! Another thing I need to marathon soon. I've had some crazy months where either I had little time or couldn't properly relax/focus on fictional things, so I left The X-Files and other stuff for later, because I didn't want to ruin my viewing experience.
I've heard very mixed comments about the revival, especially divisive when it comes to the finale. I'll let you know how I feel about it if I see it before you decide to check it out!

Thanks for the new thread!

I don't think The Night Manager will disappoint you. I haven't read the book but Tom and Hugh are excellent and the rest of the cast is great too. I have just seen the finale and it was terrific.

Yes, I loved the Colony finale. It set things up very well for the next season.

Oh no! I just found out that Chris Hemsworth, Emily Blunt and Charlize Theron were in my city yesterday to promote the latest Huntsman movie and I freaking missed it. :bawl:

Oh, I hadn't heard of that. Your comment about the season finale upped my level of intrigue, though. :)

It's a shame that you missed them, Alex.

I think this was the last time I ever watched a Walking Dead episode live. I had to sit through 40+ minutes of commercials for 50 minutes of action and to make matters worse, it wasn't even worth it. The episode was a total letdown after all the great buildup during the season. I expected a bloodbath, but instead I got the characters driving around in circles for most of the episode and while the writers did kill off one of the regulars, they kept it as a cliffhanger and didn't even show which character it was. :pout:

Thanks Julie. I'm such a huge fan of Chris. I really would have loved to have seen him and maybe got an autograph.

Sulieter 04-03-2016 10:18 PM

Sorry, double post.

Sulieter 04-03-2016 10:18 PM

I hope this is some consolation. Chris will be a guest of Steve Wright The Afternoon radio show today.

BBC Radio 2 - Steve Wright in the Afternoon, Chris Hemsworth and William Hanson

After it is broadcast, there should be a link to the interview so you won't have to search through the whole show.

I think people in other countries can receive the show.

EDIT: The specific Chris interview clip;
