I saw THE most amazing book today, it was called Michael Jackson: A Life In Pictures, and it was so beautiful. It was... well, basically what the title said it was huge, and really heavy and thick too, and just filled with the most gorgeous pictures, some of which I hadn't seen before.
I wanted to buy it so badly but it was quite expensive, but I have just found it online for a better price, so I'm thinking about ordering it. Has anyone here seen it? __________________

Aw, no I've never seen it before Val, but I would have probably wanted to buy it too even though I already have 2 MJ "pictures book" Is it the one with young MJ on the cover? (I just checked on amazon and that's the one they show with that title you posted)
And btw, I wanted to ask you guys about the Opus, because I don't know much about it, is it only available in the US and/or online? And did it already come out there? __________________

Yes, that's the one
The Opus is available online, and there's an official Opus store that is in London, I believe and yes, it's out now! But I've heard a lot of people haven't received their copy yet __________________

Thanks for the link I usually don't buy things online though, especially if you say some people haven't received their copy yet My mom's sister lived near London though so I might asked her to buy me the book but I'm still not sure about getting since it's so expensive __________________

Yeah, it really is a gorgeous book. It reminded me a lot of the Opus actually, which is why I wouldn't spend 200 euro on a book that, while quite fabulous, really is very very overpriced...

Yeah, a book really shouldn't be that expensive Half of that prize would already be better, even though I will still find it too expensive too!
What was the price of "Michael Jackson: A Life In Pictures" in your store? __________________

It was 35 euro in the store I went to, but I've found it online for 24! so I'll probably order it, that is a VERY reasonable price for that book because it was huge and so beautiful

I'm reading J. Randy Taraborrelli's book at the moment, and I'm liking it a lot so far. I'm only up to the Off The Wall era, so I'm still holding my breath for what's to come... But so far it's really interesting and an entertaining read.
It's so clear that half of it is pretty much made up/guessed though. It goes into detail about a lot of situations/conversations he of course would have NO idea about, and as far as I know Michael did give him a few interviews but none of them could have been that detailed, so it's kind of funny at times when he goes on about things that are obviously just being guessed at. Still - it's easy to take those bits and bobs with a grain of salt, and it does paint a new and interesting picture of the life he really must have had. I'm a bit apprehensive about how it goes from here, but I just wanted to say that so far, I'm enjoying it __________________

I've been meaning to read that book, I've heard it's not as bad as I was thinking it would be.
Are you done with it Val? What did you think in general? __________________

Uhmm... I stopped somewhere halfway through... not cause it was bad, well - I stopped around Thriller era and you could notice the author started thinking he got weird then so it was a bit more awkward to read.. I still plan on continuing it, but it got a little bit harder.
