That was something that bugged me. They put him in the opening credits so quick, but it took Brian years to get in the credits

 It really is  I like the character Reeves even if hasn't really had a point but he only deserves a recurring not opening creditOh finally speaking up at the AA meeting at the end of 15x05 __________________

We'll never know what was the character's original purpose since Gary died in s14...
 But I still liked him, as recurring character... At least s15 gave him a more solid backstory... __________________

He was the one who came up with "Clayton" as a character... __________________

Yeah that's the unfortunate thing about the character - his purpose was lost due to Gary's death it seemed
 Its a shame though but they did good with what little they gave us I suppose. It just is a shame then I'm also with Steph that they were quick to add him in while poor Palmer/Brian had to wait how long?  Then Reeves was more reoccurring or just popping up over the divider in a 'we have to use this character' sort of way making him wasted as he was a good character __________________

They should have just made him a permanent teammember of "Team Gibbs" especially after Quinn left where he's already helping them occasionally

Yeah... And maybe they even planned on it, but the actor also had a few more serious personal issues so he couldn't really film more scenes than the ones that we have seen...
At least he had a more meaningful run at the show... __________________

 That he was killed but doesn't surprise me cause he still didn't have much of a purposeEven if it sucked them starting to give him a purpose relating to his volunteering at that group home where am just glad he was able to convince the mother to go to the homeless shelter __________________
