Especially in s15, I guess...
I mean in s14 he was half of the time competing with Torres and the other time he was conspiring with Ellie... He and Ellie had that strong friendship going on, it's a shame that they didn't get that much screen time in s15, if I remember correctly... __________________

Just watched 14x19, it's a nice mostly Clayton centric episode... Pretty much that's the only good thing happening in the ep... (I didn't care that much about Bish & McGee investigating if Quinn & Torres had a fling back then or not... They had...)
It's the episode where Reeves is assigned to accompany a Vietnam-veteran for 2 days, and he realizes that he doesn't want to be a lone wolf and turns down the international liaison position... Also they hint on the alcoholism and being an orphan as an issue __________________

I think I remember that ep & it being a good one. Felt a bit like they set us up with a backstory only to lose him. I remember feeling that way anyway

I felt the same. Felt like they gave us a lot of backstory only to kill the character off. Guess they really wanted to 'shock' us.

I think his story was written to match Duane's wishes... I remember reading something about him having to deal with some personal things while being on the show. That he ended up requesting quite a lot of time off, and that NCIS was really nice with him...
He truly loved the shocking end of his character, at least he'll always be remembered... __________________

I didn't mind him, I just feel its a shame he held no purpose & at times seemed to just pop up so they could use him on the show. The writers unfortunately didn't seem to know what they wanted to do with him

 doesn't feel like he is deserving of having a credit in the Opening Credit__________________
