He was over last night and we kind of talked it out. He just dropped some job opportunity news on me in front of my parents, like I wouldn't be interested that he has a great opportunity in a completely other city that he might want to clue me in on. We'd just been together all weekend and he didn't mention it at all. He's a guy and apparently didn't think it was a big deal and we'd make it work. But I dated a guy for a long time right out of college and we did long distance and then not and then long distance again and our relationship ended because he moved away and I wouldn't go with him so...I'm having PTSD.

On top of that I started feeling pretty weird/sick last night and was still like that this morning. I've been dealing with sinus headaches/possible allergy issues so I finally went to the Dr. and they gave me a flu test, which came back negative. But I feel really weak and gross still. The antibiotics they gave me have terrible reviews which is now making me want to avoid taking it all together. I'm not running a fever and I'm not convinced I need them.

It might be the antibiotics. But instead of not taking anything anymore, I'd call and get the doctor to call in a new prescription. I'm super sensitive to side effects myself, and I've found doctors are really understanding about that.

And I'm sorry to hear about the boyfriend troubles. I hope it works out.

So, I didn't listen to KiKi and go to the doctor when she told me to. I don't know why I've avoided it. I guess I just didn't want to be poked and prodded. But this cough is just so bad I can't take it anymore.

I saw the repeat of Timmy on Jimmy Kimmel last night. Yep, he's totally adorable! Haha. I hope all this fame doesn't get to him. He's still so young.

And I agree, the shine is wearing off J.Law pretty quickly. It's clear she has disdain for being a "movie star" now and all that charm and lovable goofiness she used to have now just seems forced and cynical. She's been through a lot and it's not always easy being so famous, but she just seems bitter now and she's not even 30.

I'm allergic to penicillin so they were debating what to put me on instead and this drug seems crazy over the top strong with serious side effects so it's freaking me out. Like they use it to treat people who are about to go to Africa against Malaria. Maybe I'll call my doctor and see if she can't give me something else.

Do you think you have the flu? I avoided going to the doctor for so long because I didn't want to put myself in a waiting room filled with flu patients but no one was coughing or outwardly sick when I was there. Thank goodness. But coughs are nothing to mess with, especially this season.

I love JLaw, and even I think she needs to dial it back this press tour. The attitude and off the cuff comments maybe were cute when she was first starting out, but it is wearing thin. I understand she had a tough 2017 and this new movie really doesn't seem like it's going to fair any better. Maybe she should take some time off. It's almost JLaw overload. She and Taylor need to go and do an indie together.

Seriously. A parent and a secretary, both in good health have died of the flu in my school district in the past couple of months. DO NOT mess around ladies!

I went to get my eyes checked today to get new glasses and now have to go to an eye specialist because the pressure in my eyes differs, not elevated, just different which is apparently a symptom of glaucoma, which doesn't run in my family. She thinks it's just physiological considering I have no family history, no symptoms, etc. but have to be on the safe side I suppose.

Maybe that's why you've been so dizzy??

I don't know, there aren't really many outward symptoms of glaucoma until you experience vision changes and loss, which I haven't had. Just having differing pressure in both eyes can be an indicator, but it can also be normal and my pressure is well within the normal limit in both eyes even though they are different pressures. Anyway, it's sufficiently freaked me out. So I get to spend the morning tomorrow making eye doctor appointments and trying to get a different medication for this stupid sinus infection which could also be causing the pressure change.

I feel like I'm falling apart.

I have not fallen off the face of the planet! I know y’all were concerned.
This week has been crazy chaotic. Oldest minion has strep, pink eye in both eyes, and an ear infection. AND we got keys to our new place, AND I’ve been sick with pneumonia and pink eye in one eye. Anyway... I’ve not abandoned you. I’ve just been really really tired and busy.

Oh my gosh Kayla, that's awful! Yeesh! I hope you guys get better soon. But yay you got your keys! I figured you've just been busy getting ready for the move lately.

And Amanda, you are NOT falling apart. You're just sick! It probably is just the sinus infection and/or antibiotics causing the fluid difference. Hang in there.

So I looked it up and actually sinus infections don't cause different pressures in the eye, it has nothing to do with it. So now I'm more worried. But I guess I'll find out in a few weeks when I have this eye mapping or whatever it is they have to do.

I hope you're not trying to move at the same time you're so sick. That would be awful. But it's exciting you're almost ready to move!

We all have been so sick. We're a mess. I was sick for a month, then I had my procedure which was unrelated and planned, and now my rib is still really hurting. I'm laying with a heating pad right now. I honestly don't know what I did, but it hurts so bad when I move from sitting to standing or laying. It's been a week. I really didn't want to go back to another friggen' doctor but I guess I have to! I have plans tonight so I guess I will go tomorrow.

Do you think you pulled something? Rib pain is no joke. When I was in an accident I could barely move from the way my ribs were compressed by the seat belt. It hurt to laugh, breath, basically do anything but just lay there.

I'm so out of it. I was supposed to get Jack Johnson tickets this morning and completely forgot. All the good seats are gone. *cry*

I need to be running errands before this birthday party I have to go to tonight but instead I'm on the couch watching the Big Ten Tournament. Productive.

You’re so cute. Of course I’m moving while I am sick. Story of my life. Our first night here was Wednesday. Fun news... our apartment wasn’t ready and won’t be now until April. So, we’re in a one bedroom and will have to move it all again when our apartment is done. I’m seeing the positive... we are in our own space and I now have boxes from storage I can go through and sort inside, instead of sorting them in the elements at storage. Yay!

I hope they are compensating your for that one bedroom!! I'm sure they are.

I honestly think I broke a rib when they dropped me or something when I was under sedation. Okay, I'm exaggerating, but I do think they wrenched something while moving me around. Going to see Game Night and then maybe swing by the UrgentCare. Maybe I will wait a bit longer since I know there is nothing they can do.
