Harry Potter #3: Because there's only one more book, and so much to talk about!

Alright everyone. I didn't see a third Harry Potter board anywhere so I decided to make one. If I stepped on any toes and there is a third one, let me know and I'll delete this one but the 2nd one had been closed because of max posts right before the FF blackout so I thought perhaps no one had thought to make a new one. This board is for a discussion on all the Harry Potter Books:
1. The Sorcerer's Stone
2. The Chamber of Secrets
3. The Prisoner of Azkaban
4. The Goblet of Fire
5. The Order of the Phoenix
6. The Half-Blood Prince

Let's assume that everyone here has read the books, since they've all been out for over a year, so you can talk about anything you want to. Therefore, if you haven't read any of the books, don't come in here, this is not a spoiler-free zone.

Alright, everyone, hope you enjoy.

I can't say that they all made me cry but The Half-Blood Prince did.

The Order of the Phoenix made me cry. I felt so bad for Harry losing Sirius like that.

I cried at the first one when Hagrid gave Harry the pictures of his parents. Gets me everytime.

None of the books made my cry, but the 5th one made me feel very bad for Harry.

I thought it was going to be 7/7/07. Then again I'm not sure if that was actually true but it would fit.

Did you all hear about Stephen King and John Irving asking JK Rowling not to kill Harry in the final book? I think it's great that other authors care about the story too. And one thing I love about the HP books, is they are written where kids can understand them, but they aren't dumbed down and adults can enjoy them too.

I really hope she doesn't kill off Harry in the last one. I was hoping she'd extend the series. Let Harry become and auror and write about that.

How would everyone react if Harry did die?

I would sob like a little baby. I think he deserves some happiness. His parents are killed, he's placed in a home that neglects him, he finally finds a parental figure in Sirius, who gets killed, then he finds a father figure in Dubledore...

He just deserves to have something good happen to him. And if Harry dies, it probably means Voldemort won, and I can' see any point in that happening.

I think it would be a total let down if she killed off Harry. I would be very disappoint and I would end up looking at the entire series differently. The only way she could make it work is if she made spin off books.
