That's a very good way of putting it - it's not a good book per se, but for some reason very addicting...

I can't help but want the first book from Grey's perspective - it'd be like the Midnight Sun we never got But I think doing all three books from Grey's perspective would be overkill.

Wow, to go from writing very adult/mature fiction to doing YA is a brave move.

I think I'd feel way too conspicuous if I read it in public - whenever I read it over my lunch hour, I always made sure the cover wasn't showing and that I could close it quickly if needed I read somewhere that e-readers helped a lot with the sales of the book because people could read it more incconspicuously.

calibre is a free program you can use to put your books on that you don't buy on any of the markets (like amazon for example) calibre works with ipad, nook, kindle, etc. and it helps you easily manage and get the books onto the device.

Wow, I just finished reading the 3 books! I'm glad to have read them

I started reading them on Friday and I couldn't stop reading until about an hour ago .

They are not the kind of books I usually read but I loved reading them

I have a very similar opinion as xbecca has about the books .

Once you get into the second book it becomes more about their relationship growing, rather then the roles they each play like in the first book. The third book in my opinion is written the best.

The writing isn't that good but somehow so addictive

Lucy is anything but innocent , her private pics with her ex in bed and her take off clothes for only Cinderella tv movie, showing she's good for the roles

I'm thinking bout Christian Bale circa American Psycho era when I pictured Grey , too bad he's too old now

I'm in love with this series. I'm on the second book now and like the first one, I can't put it down!

Thinking about who would play the characters in the movie and Johnny Depp came to mind for me. What do you all think?

I still want Ian to do the movie..

Yeah, I have no idea how they're going to do a movie - I suppose the storylines we get in the second and third novels could suffice, but they've got to include some of the stuff between Ana and Grey.

I still love the idea of Wes Bentley for Grey - looks-wise he is who I imagined while reading.

I would think that they'd have to combine the books in some way - I feel like the first one is so focused on their relationship and the BDSM stuff that they wouldn't really be able to make an entire movie out of it

I would agree with you on that, making the first two books into one movie would work better, but with as popular as these books are, they're going to draw them out into three or four movies just to get more money.

^ word.

I'm about ten chapters into book 1. I can definitely understand the hype surrounding it. Like, seriously, EVERYONE is reading these books.
