I do! Well, sure, a lot of the books I carry are things that I have to read for class, but they're not textbooks, but lit. books. I carry them with me until I finish & then I carry my personal choice (aka 2 days of freedom book) with me. I'm not as bad as when I was younger. Around age 7, I would read at the dinner table, my mum used have to take away books.

Yes! I have a lot of funny stories about that too. I'll carry a book around the house that day I read it and sometimes I leave it in the funniest places. One time I was getting a snack out of the fridge and I went to sit down and I couldn't find my book. I retraced my steps and found it on the top shelf in the fridge. Usually I'm not even aware that I'm carrying it around because I do it so much.

I usually have one in my carry bag if I have to get a bus/train/tube.

Or I will take one out with me if I am going to work so I can read it on my lunch break

I ALWAYS have a book. It drives people around me nuts at times, but I have to have a book with me at all times. I'm never not reading something.

Yeah, I always carry a book or two with me...ever since grade 6. I used to get teased horribly for it in junior high/high school.

i'm surprised to see that so many other people do this too. since i started college this fall, i always carry a book with me. it's become somewhat of a motto for me that i should always have a book with me so that if ever i have some free time i'll always have something to do.

Since I moved to Chicago and now that I take the train I always carry a book with me in my purse I love having extra time in the day to read well I'm on the train. That and a lot of time I just take my book and read during lunch time.

i've always got a book with me. its just awful staring into space on a bus (or especially the tube), or having a friend be late to meet you and having to sit there with nothing to do. i've learned its really handy to have a book in your bag for whenever you have those few minutes to yourself.

I do when there's room in my bag.

Usually when I go to work or any time that I'd be alone riding the subway/streetcar/bus for quite some time. I find it to be a good use of my time.

My purse is too small to carry a book with me all the time but I do like to have something to read when possible. And one of the best places to read is in the bathtub...just have to be careful not to drop the book.
