Yes!
I have a lot of funny stories about that too. I'll carry a book around the house that day I read it and sometimes I leave it in the funniest places. One time I was getting a snack out of the fridge and I went to sit down and I couldn't find my book. I retraced my steps and found it on the top shelf in the fridge.
Usually I'm not even aware that I'm carrying it around because I do it so much.
