I carry book with me everyday.
I read mostly when I'm on the bus to work, and back. If I didn't carry books with me, I would rarely read books.

The bad part about this was that when I was reading "Gone With The Wind", my back was killing me. It's a very thick book.
What I'm reading now is much smaller: it's the Billie Holiday auto-biography, "Lady Sings the Blues".

I'm pretty much lost without a book too. I bring one everywhere I go, school, barber shop . . u name it, I have it.

I'm like the rest of you. I take a book everywhere I go. You never know when there will be a long wait or just nothing entertaining to do.

Oh yeah I carry a book everywhere too.

I take one with me to work and whenever I'm in the car for a long period of time.

Also take one with me whenever I go over to people's house and I read my book so they won't talk to me.

Yep, I always try to have a book in my bag. Very useful when you're taking the bus or waiting for somebody.

I don't anymore. I don't carry a purse and I used to just stick a paperback in a backpocket of my jeans, but got out of the habit - mostly because the book always seemed to be a centimeter too big for the pocket. [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img] I do carry around a pen for when inspiration strikes. Normally I end up writing on whatever scrap of paper or book I can find.

I used to, when i was in high school. i always needed something to keep me awake in school. but not so much now. if i know that i'm going on a long car ride or something i will.

Well, I always carry a bk in my backpack to school, but when I go other places I usually don't (unless I'm going on vacation or something).

Yes! I hate it when I have a sudden bit of downtime and I've left my book at home. It's like total wasted time. I sometimes find that I wish my friends wouldn't talk to me between classes so that I could read.
