I am glad Hyde cared too, he was pretty much the only guy that did there.

Donna could actually hurt Jackie since she's stronger and bigger. Hyde breaking up the fight was the right thing to do.

I hope Hyde told Jackie that the next time she wants to "play-fight" with Donna, to do it with her words instead of with her body -- because Jackie would have a chance there.

I would hope he told her that, but who knows if she would listen.

I think Jackie would listen. She likes winning, and she'd see the wisdom in Hyde's advice.

Poor Donna. Her self-esteem's gonna be trashed.

I think Jackie would take Hyde's advice and use her words next time. She needs to remember she's tiny compared to Donna

Maybe but I always felt she never took Jackie's insults seriously. She should be used to them by now.

I don't think she took Jackie's insults seriously either, if they really bothered her I am sure she would have actually told Jackie.

In "Bring It On Home," Jackie did get to Donna when she said, "I'm sorry, but you're just not popular enough for me to live with." Donna was pisssssed! She struck back right afterward and continued to rant about Jackie's other insults in the circle.

Another example is in "Moon Over Point Place" when Jackie calls Donna a "big goon". Donna's immediate reaction is to call Jackie a bitch. So I do think Jackie's verbal assaults got to her. Maybe not all the time, but definitely in certain moments.

Jackie was pretty scrappy, too. She kicked Laurie's ass, but Donna bowed out after being bitten by Laurie. Jackie should've bitten Donna during their "girl-fights".

Oh right, Donna was mad especially because she felt she was making this huge sacrifice to help Jackie out and Jackie couldn't appreciate her gesture.

I think Hyde also said that Jackie used to bite When he kicked her out of the basement for talking about wedding stuff.

Yeah. That's scary image, Jackie biting people. Chapter 96 of Filling in the Gaps (by rebeldivaluv) explores this aspect of Jackie and how Hyde learned about it.

Laurie bit Donna in "Cat Fight Club". Maybe after Jackie learned Laurie bites, Jackie excised that tactic from her own arsenal.

---

I was wondering if Hyde ever went to Donna to talk about Jackie -- but because of their discussion in "Bring It On Home," I doubt it. We learn in that episode Hyde clearly knows Jackie better than Donna does (and loves her unconditionally ). But what kind of changes did Donna recognize in Hyde because of his relationship with Jackie? Donna became a shipper of them by the end of season 5, and she must've seen the effect Jackie has on Hyde.

I think Donna noticed how good Jackie and Hyde were for each other and saw how they grew.

I like that Donna was supportive of the relationship in season 7. She knew how in love with Jackie Hyde was, and she probably thought they would (or should) last.

I liked that about Donna too. She eventually seemed really supportive.

She shipped them. Not the way we ship them, though. Otherwise, instead of spraying Hyde and Jackie with water when they made out on her bed, she would've sat down and watched.

That is kind of a creepy thought, Donna watching them!
