Brilliant! I wish I could get paid that much per day to do what I assume they're going to be doing.

You make an EXCELLENT POINT, Wendy. Though I wonder how long you'd actually have to be shut up in there or if they'd open your capsule up until the last minute. Still though. Dream job, tbh.

I think we'd all be able to do it as there is no acting involved just fake sleeping So it would be a dream job for me too! $842.00 a day would defiantly eliminate claustrophobic fears

I think this could be the actual scene they are casting for:

Excerpt from the script:

MAJOR SPOILER!

Spoiler:

There is another prominent character as well, Lindsey

I thought it might be that one too, Jord! Still though. That's some good pay for either role.

Yeah, but he is suppose to be an (older) male right? I'm basing this on the exclusive media plot, which I feel like kind of gave away the whole plot so I probably should read the first (?) draft of the script now

HAHAH YEAH, LINDSEY, that pretty much sums it up. It doesn't give the whole explanation for anything by any means, but yeeeeeeah.

The Black List 2013 was announced yesterday, so I decided to look up the 2007 list because I knew Passengers was listed that year. It was actually 3rd back in 2007 according to an old article at Deadline:

Wow! That's really interesting! And I can see why it was so well-liked too, I loved it.

That's a lot of scripts! Very interesting indeed.

Keanu has been doing interviews/promo for "47 Ronin" and he mentions "Passengers"

Quote:
Keanu Reeves Updates on Bill & Ted 3, Passengers

We also chatted about his next project, the sci-fi tale Passengers, and his love of genre films in general

IGN: Passengers sounds like such a cool concept. We don't know a heck of a lot about it but it feels like a Twilight Zone episode or something like that.

Reeves: Yeah, Passengers is about a guy who wakes up on a spaceship that's doing a homesteading, that's going to another planet to live, along with 5,000 other passengers. Something happens, and he wakes up too soon. He's surrounded by the sleeping passengers and a robot android, Arthur. He starts to kind of lose his mind. He becomes lonely, and he ends up waking up a passenger, Aurora [played by Rachel McAdams], and not telling her. It's a love story -- Adam and Eve, in a kind of way.

I'm not sure he himself mentioned Rachel as her name is in brackets.

EDIT:

I'll literally be sick if this turns out true :

Maybe it's a fake account?

Thanks for the updates Jord. The tweet (and also this one) scared me at first but the twitter feed seems fake to me and the tweets are a bit odd.

Rachel confirmed it herself, plus the production company and screenplay writer with his RTs.

No problem

And, I doubt an official source would feel the need to post in the comments section of a website.

Don't think they'd sign thing with hugs either? But who on Earth finds it necessary to create a fake account like that? GOODNESS.
