Hmm, I think they'd both be pretty freaked out about that! But I could see Maya when she's just starting college, or just starting a new job after she's graduated & getting busy & forgetting to call, & Shawn being pretty freaked out about it

Me too, he'd want to call her, but then also wouldn't want to get in the way of her new life, & just when he thought he'd been forgotten, she'd call him & tell him everything that she had been up to

I think it was the first time someone had said something to her where she hadn't really believed it until the person said that, whereas with people like Riley & Katy, she already knew how they felt about her
