You're welcome! I put the opening song in the OP, it's from Kelly's official youtube channel so I don't think this one is gonna get taken off ;)

probably virtual

shinebrighterxx 10-17-2020 01:26 AM

Nice that she'll be a presenter :)

I think that is filmed in LA so it might not be virtual

heartღaflutter 10-17-2020 06:58 AM

oh didn't know that, oh that does increase the odds of her actually being there ;)

Supposedly Kelly is also doing something for this event:

Since 1987, SRF’s Cool Comedy • Hot Cuisine has been fortunate to have had some of the world’s finest performing artists generously donate their time and talents to the Scleroderma Research Foundation. This event raises millions of dollars for research and increases awareness about this chronic, debilitating and sometimes deadly autoimmune disease affecting thousands of people worldwide.

But today’s unprecedented times call for unprecedented innovation, so this year we’re reimagining the 2020 event as a live VIRTUAL experience on YouTube!

The online broadcast will deliver more Cool Comedy than ever before, featuring appearances from these world-class comedians and performers:

Jason Alexander, Jack Black, Reggie Brown, Bill Burr, Kelly Clarkson, Jim Gaffigan, Jeff Garlin, Nikki Glaser, Regina Hall, Ken Jeong, Queen Latifah, George Lopez, Howie Mandel, John Mayer, Joel McHale, Pat Monahan, Ray Romano, Jeff Ross, Sarah Silverman, John Stamos, and more!

The show is being executive produced by Bob Saget and Emmy Award-winning producer Joel Gallen, with support from Studio71.

We can't wait for you to join us!

I could be wrong as I don't pay that award a lot of attention, but I'm pretty sure it is

Sounds interesting :look:

heartღaflutter 10-19-2020 04:35 AM

I haven't seen footage of the event yet either... ETA: -> just read somewhere that they used a kellyoke song from the show with a word from Kelly that is supposedly new

Some divorce news, or more on who Kelly hired..

https://www.the-sun.com/entertainmen...stock-divorce/
Quote:

KELLY Clarkson has hired Kim Kardashian and Angelina Jolie’s high-powered lawyer in her messy divorce from estranged husband Brandon Blackstock.

The Sun can exclusively reveal Kelly, 38, filed to replace her initial attorney, Terry Ross, with Laura Wasser on July 21.

The divorce lawyer has been dubbed the “Disso Queen,” as her A-list clients include Angelina Jolie, Ashton Kutcher, Jennifer Garner, Britney Spears, Ryan Reynolds, Gwen Stefani and more.

She also represented Kim Kardashian in her divorce from second husband Kris Humphries.

Kelly obtaining the high-powered attorney comes as her divorce from her husband of seven years has taken a messy turn.

The songstress filed for divorce from the talent manager in June 2020.

She cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.

The star requested joint legal and physical custody of their daughter River Rose, 6, and son Remington Alexander, 4, but asked the court not to award Brandon any spousal support.

The Kelly Clarkson Show host also requested the court enforce a prenup signed on October 15, 2013, and to restore her maiden name, Kelly Clarkson.

In Brandon’s response to the divorce, he agreed to Kelly's request of having joint legal and physical custody of their children.

The courts have approved a privately compensated judge, Judge Scott M. Gordon, for Kelly and Brandon's divorce proceedings until December 2021.

The American Idol winner has also been sued by her ex’s father's company for $1.4 million.
perhaps recommended by Gwen?

for those interested, I don't like posting these things since it's private but that's how I found out about her new attorney
Kelly at the beach with the kids, only link no pics here

shinebrighterxx 10-20-2020 01:31 PM

Wish they'd leave them alone & let them have some family time at the beach without taking photos, especially of the children

perhaps recommended by Gwen?
I'm presuming so

I think that article means ex-father-in-law at the end :P

heartღaflutter 10-21-2020 02:22 AM

yeah I don't like photos like that either, I think two weeks ago they also made photos of her at the beach with friends...

haha I do think they meant that yes

I'm glad she's got some good counsel.. I hope they get to terms quickly so they can leave it behind

apparently this is a repeat of a christmas session she did with a choir in Austria I believe... It once aired and was pulled off youtube when the performance was uploaded
I remember it being amazing, hopefully they upload it again this year :)

shinebrighterxx 10-21-2020 02:38 AM

Yeah I was going to say I'm sure we've had something like this before :look:

heartღaflutter 10-21-2020 02:39 AM

yeah it's a repeat, though I do hope that the vid stays on youtube now because it is awesome (in my memory )

ETA:

ah it was this segment

shinebrighterxx 10-21-2020 02:56 AM

Would be nice

heartღaflutter 10-21-2020 02:58 AM

just edited my post

In that IG post they already said last year that the movie is coming out on DVD and available for streaming services so that's why it gets airtime on TV

shinebrighterxx 10-21-2020 03:01 AM

Was it the performance you remembered?

I don't get giving something airtime that's going on DVD, but also won't complain about something including Kelly getting airtime :P

heartღaflutter 10-22-2020 03:09 AM

yup that's the one I had in mind

well maybe during Covid they don't have much new content

so far the only thing I could find on her CMT appereance, seems like it was pre-taped!

ETA: Just as I post this I find this on twitter

ETA #2:

xkellyx 10-22-2020 11:17 AM

Thanks for the video:)

shinebrighterxx 10-22-2020 07:40 PM

What is that other event? Singers trying to make people vote? :look: I will never understand the push of 'please vote, please vote' as it is compulsory here & to me that seems quite logical. I don't get not voting, but each to their own. Here really all you need to do is get your name marked off, you don't have to fill out the ballot sheet.

Thanks for the video. Funny she was announcing the performance from her dressing room. Desperate times to keep people safe though

heartღaflutter 10-23-2020 06:44 AM

perhaps to make sure people vote, I know here in Holland we've had a lot of people complain but when you check how many people actually voted (and some people who only like to complain about government) it is sometimes very surprising..

yeah very excited about the new single!

Aben Eubanks (always part of her band) co-wrote/produced the song!

shinebrighterxx 10-24-2020 03:01 AM

Yeah it amazes me how few people vote in other countries. But it also amazes me that other countries let it be a choice  :P

oh cool. Aben Eubanks as a writer is a sign of a good song imo :D

heartღaflutter 10-24-2020 05:09 AM

haha.. yeah it is amazing sometimes

I think I saw it online somewhere that the last thing he wrote with Kelly was for her Wrapped in Red album?

shinebrighterxx 10-24-2020 11:12 PM

oh wow, really? Too long. He should write with/for her again soon :whip:

heartღaflutter 10-25-2020 10:33 AM

that's what I heard, i haven't fact checked it

heartღaflutter 10-27-2020 04:40 AM

Her new single is officially out tomorrow on streaming services but she uploaded it a few hours ago on youtube with a lyric video!!

What do you guys think?

I like it, it's very cheerful!! and really puts me in the christmas spirit!!

Atlantic Records’ voting coalition ATL Votes has launched the 36% Campaign, named after the fact that only 36% of eligible voters aged 18-29 voted in the 2018 midterm election, according to the Census Bureau. Various artists signed to the label aim to illustrate the importance of voting by showcasing what this low percentage would look — and sound — like for hit music videos and songs.

Kelly Clarkson, Jack Harlow, boy band Why Don’t We, Meek Mill, Cordae, Grouplove and Portugal. The Man, among others, will release rough-cut, shortened videos of some of their biggest hits, such as Grouplove’s beloved “Tongue Tied” and Portugal. The Man’s five-time platinum Grammy award-winning “Feel It Still,” which has been edited to be 36% visible and stripped of key instrumental elements, including its signature bassline.

The current list of videos released also includes Clarkson’s “Love So Soft,” Harlow’s “WHATS POPPIN,” Why Don’t We’s “Fallin’ (Adrenaline),” Meek’s “Young Black America” and Cordae’s “RNP.” Each campaign video was edited by music video director Stephan Gray, with audio remixes of “Tongue Tied” and “Feel It Still” done by Sean Harvey.

Earlier this year, Atlantic Records employees formed a company-wide task force to get out the vote by mobilizing the label’s star-studded roster to bolster youth voter registration and turnout. Through a partnership with HeadCount, a nonprofit that coalitions with musicians to promote democratic participation, ATL Votes’ has brought in a team of experts to realize its mission.

In addition to social media campaigns, ATL Votes has integrated HeadCount’s voter registration tools into its artists’ websites, email lists and livestreams, along with launching competitions for fans to win video chats with artists if they check their registration status. For more information on voting and the 36% Campaign, please visit https://www.atlanticrecordsvotes.com/.

ETA: THey set the christmas song to private, they probably put it online too early!

shinebrighterxx 10-28-2020 01:23 AM

She sang Love So Soft for that? Interesting choice...

Shame about the video but not surprised as does seem a bit early. Its back now so edited your post so it shows up again ;) (I know I could've posted it but didn't like seeing the broken video link in your posts :P. Hope that's ok!)

heartღaflutter 10-28-2020 11:00 AM

haha well it's for Atlantic Records so she didn't have much choice I think in her music

that's okay  thank you!
