There's a small population of rattlesnakes in a national park a bit north of here. I've encountered them twice. Not something I needed to see.

it's always nice to see deer. Although the local farmers don't like them since they eat their crops.

20 years ago today, I was on my way to Calgary, Alberta on vacation and missed all the fun at home caused by the great blackout.

Hope everybody has a good Monday.

Julie - It is fun to see animals

Chris - Oh wow!

Not the best Monday for me as we had a training downtown and I hate driving there and around. Took me two hours to get home tonight

For sure!

Today I got some drinks, cheese, cookies, a calculator, and a soap dish!

Mel - for the long commute. Driving through heavy traffic is so stressful.

Norman - what type of cheese do you like? I tend to stick to medium cheddar, but gouda is nice on occasion. I should go out to the cheese factory and get some curds.

Good Morning all.

How is everybody today?

Might run out to the store today for a couple of things, but I'll probably wait until tomorrow since there's nothing I need desperately.

I'm fine thanks, Chris. It's hot and sunny today. I paddled in the sea and bought a Cornish pastry in a nearby village.

Thanks for the article, Chris. It's amazing how much chaos can be caused by a blackout.

I'm sorry you had a bad Monday, Mel.

Hi, Ken. I quite like snakes. I wouldn't go too close to one in the wild, though.

I love cheese. It's hard to pick a favourite but I love mozzarella, blue cheeses, Cheddar and Gruyere.

Norman, that's a good variety of items that you bought.

Julie - It's raining here too. I hope it will cut the humidity outside.

Mel - working from home must be nice on occasion.

The parking tickets at the local hospital and medical clinic have been updated. Now they have a QR code you could scan to pay, rather than feeding the machine $3 in cash. Trying to convince hubby that scanning the QR code would not leave all your bank account info open for hacking.

Chris - I hope he listens It makes things so much easier when you don't have to carry cash.

Julie - I hope you are enjoying the rain and enjoying your relaxing day.

Mel - Fridays are the best days to work from home. I hope it's been a non-stressful day for you!

We are leaving on Sunday morning to go on vacation. An actual vacation and not a swim meet this time
