Julie - I'm glad the storm missed you

Mel - oh, nice long weekend for you! Glad everybody had fun at the surprise party.

Norman - it's hard to believe that fall is just around the corner. Do you do a lot of decorating for Halloween?

Redeemed a free pizza reward at Pizza Hut for supper last night. It was really good.

Thanks Norman

Thanks Chris.

Yum! Fun! I have a free pizza to redeem at Mod Pizza so I might do that this weekend.

Went to the used bookstore this morning to turn in some books. Didn’t know I had any credit but I did. Ended up getting the book Pachinko which I’ve been wanting to read after watching the series.

Sure thing!

I sure do, I love the fall aesthetic with the warm days but cooler nights, and the colors, yas!

Chris - glad you enjoyed your free pizza! It always tastes better when it's free

Mel - I love Mod. We go there a lot for pizza since it's one set price for everything. Enjoy your free pizza! And your new (to you) book!

Julie - I love storms as long as they do not get too crazy. We haven't had rain here in forever. I can't even remember the last time it stormed. I think it might have been that bad storm that hit the north side of the city much worse than the south side of the city. I think that was months ago.

I am so glad that tomorrow is Friday! I am looking forward to sleeping in.

Norman - Fall is my favorite and I love all the fall stuff. Wow you hit a lot of places. Find anything good?

Thanks Amy. Mod is great! Enjoy sleeping in

It’s tax free weekend here this weekend so I’m sure between that and school starting it’s going to be crowded at stores this weekend.

I’m meeting up with my brother for lunch today. We’re going to have Mexican food

I'm glad you enjoyed the party, Mel. I hope you enjoy your days off.

I'm glad you enjoyed your free pizza, Chris.

Amy, I don't like storms . I'm scared of lightning. I hope you managed to sleep in.

Norman, I love autumn (fall) colours.

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Amy - were you able to sleep in and have a relaxing day? Somehow the days I hope to sleep in always seem to be the days one of the neighbours has decided to be productive, and noisy, outside.

Mel - school starting already? It never starts here until after Labour Day weekend. Hope you got some bargains and enjoyed your lunch.

Julie - you wouldn't be happy here today since we're having thunderstorms

Norman - you always seem to have success when you go shopping

Rainy day here so maybe I'll be motivated to do some extra cleaning.

Thanks Julie. I hope you have a good weekend too

Norman - Nice!

Chris - Yep most schools here start in August and I feel like it gets earlier and earlier. But yep some school districts started this past week and some will start this coming week and then the following week but yep before Labor Day.

I won’t be shopping this weekend. I don’t enjoy the crowds.

Lunch was nice yesterday and I had leftovers to bring home They headed to the mall afterwards but I went home and relaxed.

I’m headed to brunch with a few friends in a bit here. We’re meeting at a local place called Sugar Britches cafe. Last time I was there I got Cinnamon Toast Crunch French toast and I’m probably getting that again.

Guess what I saw on my walk this morning? A snake! Not sure what kind it was and it wasn’t too large but it wasn’t small either. It was slithering in the middle of the parking lot. I also saw 6 deer this morning

Have a good weekend everyone

Mel - Cinnamon Toast Crunch French toast sounds yummy! Was it as good as you remembered?

Norman - it's good to be open to what's available. If I've got something specific in mind, it often seems impossible to find it even though I've seen it in the past.

Sad day in town yesterday. A 66 year old man drowned at the beach. Bystanders were able to save a 7 year old boy. There are lots of signs warning about a dangerous undertow when the lake is rough, but people never think it might take them.

Makes sense Norman. There’s something about walking around and being able to touch, see, and smell things.

Chris - Yes!

Oh man that’s so sad. I’m glad the 7 year old was saved. I feel like lakes can be deceiving at times so it’s definitely important to heed the warnings.

That's very sad, Chris.

That's a good way to shop, Norman.

It's great that you had leftovers, Mel. I love to see animals when I go for a walk but I don't see snakes and I don't usually see deer.
