Looks like it's supposed to rain all day here, so I don't feel motivated to do much.

My partner surprised me this weekend with a surprise birthday party at our house with family, friends & neighbors. It was so sweet. I turn 40 this Tuesday. I got to see my parents, my sister finally came to visit. My best friend who's been having really bad anxiety came for the first time. My aunt and cousin from out of town, too. My heart is so full.

Thanks guys! I took the day off work to have some Me-time. I plan on reading mostly during the day. I have an errand or two scheduled, too. But, mainly just want to relax. May also start the new season of Heartstopper and go for a walk around town.

Thanks Chris. Should be quieter today but will also likely be a longer day as I have to assist a co-worker with an application inspection later today. School starts tomorrow and they want to operate. Why they waited so late to apply I have no idea.

I sure did! Today I went to the Goodwill and got a wooden whale for home decor and also got some plastic flowers!

Need to follow up about the gas fireplace remote today. It's eating batteries for some reason. It's not even being used, but we get a low battery warning after 3 weeks. That's ridiculous.

The storm didn't happen where I am. It was just very windy for a while. My greenhouse was fine.

Chris, I hate weeding but it's great when it's finished and everything looks neat.

Chris - I did but I will sleep even better tonight because my apartment is finally cool. I’m so happy. I’ve been living in an 80 degree plus apartment which has been miserable.

That is ridiculous! Hopefully it gets sorted.

Attended a surprise birthday party for a friend tonight. She was not expecting it at all. It was super fun to surprise her. We had a nice time.
