I have to work on clutter tonight after work. Our kitchen pantry has seen better days.

I wish Our Wives Under the Sea was better. It just kinda dragged towards the end. Great concept. It hooked me in the beginning and IMO just kinda fell apart.

My niece and nephew are spending the night with me tonight and the day with me tomorrow. They are 2 and 4 and soon to be 3 and 5. Today is my adult niece’s birthday. I’m going to her party tomorrow night.

My work week did get better but yep stressful as we’re still covering extra work on top of extra work. But I have a long weekend and I’m taking a couple days off next week too.

Chris - I’m glad to hear hubby is doing well and doesn’t have to go back.

Ken - it's frustrating to commit the time to reading a book and not enjoy it. It's a long weekend here but I don't have any specific plans. Might go down to the old car show tonight.

Mel - hope you had fun with your niece and nephew. Those are nice ages that you can do things with them.

Julie - hope you're able to spend time at your allotment. How are your crops growing? Corn is just coming into season here. We had some last night that was really sweet and tender.

Had to give one planter on the patio a good drink of water this morning. It's revived nicely now. I thought it would have received some of the rain we've had the last couple of days, but apparently not.

Tried the new burrito place in town for a late lunch today. I had a crispy chicken burrito and it was really good. Hubby wasn't as impressed with his ground beef tacos.

Today I went to Hobby Lobby to look at artificial plants and then I got a wax melt, I letter went to the 99 Cent store and got a chocolate!

I have been able to work on my allotment in between the rain showers. It was very windy there today because Storm Antoni is coming. I made sure my greenhouse was secure by putting extra plants on the shelves and a bag of compost on the base. Hopefully it will be fine.

My tomatoes are coming along slowly. There are a few green ones starting to emerge. I fed the plants with tomato feed and I have removed some leaves to give the fruit a chance to grow. I hope they work. I only have one sweetcorn plant that has worked. It's getting quite big but it should have other sweetcorn plants around it to help with the pollination. My lettuce, spring onions and courgettes have been doing well. My Desiree potatoes should be ready quite soon. I have tested a few. They are too small to harvest at the moment. My broad beans did well but they have mostly finished now. I have several herbs that are doing well. Melissa (lemon balm) is my favourite herb that I am growing.

I'm glad you enjoyed your burrito, Chris. I'm sorry your husband didn't enjoy his beef tacos.

I’m doing laundry today and mostly taking it easy as I had a busy week and last couple of days. I did have to run a couple errands this morning.

Contemplating seeing The Meg 2 or TMNT tomorrow at the movies but we’ll see.

Julie - Thanks. Trying to be better about using my time. I get a lot working for the state and I don’t want to lose the time. The benefits are the biggest perk of the job.

Sounds like you prepared well. I hope everything stays safe.

Always fun to try a new place. Sounds yummy. A bummer your husband didn’t like his tacos. I’ll usually give a place at least one more time if I didn’t enjoy what I ordered or had bad service.

That’s nice Norman. I went to the 99 cent store today too. I had to get a gift bag and card for a baby shower we’re having for a coworker Tuesday.
