Have a good Monday everybody!

Mel - pink pineapple? I'd be willing to give it a try, but wouldn't pay a premium price for it. I haven't had fresh pineapple for a while. Might consider buying some next time I go to the store.

Norman - I hope you find some deals at the grocery store.

Cleaned out the bookshelf this afternoon. Gave it a good dusting and pulled some books out to donate or throw out.

Chris - Yay that’s productive.

Yep though my understanding is they’re genetically modified which I’m not crazy about all the genetic modifying going on with foods. The pink pineapple is a bit sweeter and less sour than regular pineapple but again I didn’t note a huge difference. I got a mini one but yeah wouldn’t buy again for that price.

At Trader Joe’s recently I bought apriums….combo apricot/plum

Enjoyed pool time this afternoon

Mel - apriums sound interesting. Have never seen them here. I like plumcots - a plum & apricot mix. Dried apricots are nice, but I don't care for them fresh.

Norman - how are you today?

Hope to take a load of stuff out to the landfill today. Once we get the old couch out of the family room, I'll get the new furniture rearranged.

Hope you were able to Chris.

The apriums are good

Long work day today. Probably tomorrow too plus a unit meeting.

Hubby had his last follow up appointment after his shoulder surgery this morning. Waited almost an hour and a half to see the doc for 5 minutes. At any rate, the doc is pleased with hubby's progress and he doesn't have to go back.

Norman - I was looking at some artificial plants today, but resisted buying anything.

Mel - yes, we've got the furniture rearranged. It's pretty much what I had envisioned. Might want to buy a new side table, but we'll live with this for a bit and see how it works. Hope you had a better day at work today.

I had a good weekend thanks, Mel. I spent time with my family.

I can imagine that artificial plants would like great with low lighting, Norman.

I'm glad that your husband is improving, Chris.

It has been raining a lot here. It has stopped now.

Julie - I am so jealous of your rain! We are not getting any rain and the forecast says no rain for at least the next week as well.

Chris - Yay! So glad that your hubby is doing well enough for the Dr to dismiss him. Were you able to take your stuff to the landfill?

Mel - I hope work gets better for you soon. Sounds like it has been stressful.

I am so over the heat! November needs to hurry up and get here so we can finally get some temps in the 70s - 80's again.

Chris - Finding the right one and at a bargain if applicable is very important too!

Mel - There were lavender (At Home) and Hey There Beautiful (WalMart)

Amy - yes, we got the old couch and a bunch of other stuff to the landfill on Tuesday. Of course now I'm thinking that I should have turfed a few other things. I'll have to remember them for next time.

Norman - I love the scent of lavender

Mel - how did your meetings go?

Julie - glad you enjoyed your time with your family last weekend.

Need to get out to the store today and get a few things.

Hey guys.

I finally finished Our Wives Under the Sea. Didn't love it. But happy I finished it.

I read a short novella called Open Throat about a queer mountain lion in Los Angeles. I'm not sure how to feel about it.

Now, I'm reading Tom Lake by Ann Patchett only 50 pages in and I LOVE it.

Also, recently watched Interstellar - what. a. film.

Have had the Barbie movie soundtrack on repeat non-stop.

I'll swap weather with you, Amy.

I always feel good when I get rid of clutter, Chris.

Norman, I love the smell of lavender.

Ken, I saw the book Our Wives Under The Sea at work today. I thought it was an intriguing title.

I hope your work wasn't too bad, Mel.
