I had a pizza!

Julie - that always happened to me too when using the hard shells. Now I use soft tortilla shells. Although I do miss the crunch from the had shell.

Mel - it's good to have a date for getting your car back. Did you get everything sorted with your insurance? As to my niece, I think she's realizing that she's going to have to look at renting something.

Norman - pizza is always good.

Housework day for me. Need to get the laundry started.

Chris - It looks like insurance is covering it which is good. I just have to pay the deductible. I’m glad it won’t be too much longer.

Norman - Yum. I had pizza yesterday.

I had brunch with friends this morning. Now I’m about to watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse

Julie - to me, it's not pizza without pepperoni. And some mushrooms. Maybe onions, olives, bacon. Now I'm craving pizza.

Chris - I was happy to see progress and an ETA. I’m happy I should only be without a car for another week.

The movie was good. But we got left hanging. The next meeting isn’t until next March.

I had a nice nap today. I was feeling tired from the week.

Hope everybody enjoyed their weekend and has a good Monday tomorrow.

Apparently my cable provider reset my flex/additional channels the end of May with my renewal. I realized I had some different channels, but didn't notice that a couple I like were removed. Like Space/SciFi. Got that sorted out today. Wouldn't want to miss the new season of Strange New Worlds.

Tomorrow is food shopping day!

Always nice to get the fridge and pantry restocked. I did my grocery run yesterday. No blueberries this week though. Might have to check back in mid week. I like blueberries in my yogurt and on my cereal. Although I guess the local strawberries should be available soon. Those would make a nice change.

I hope everyone has a good Monday. Mine is pretty good so far. Working from home today.

I got another update on my car. They said it’s in the paint department now and ready to be prepped and painted.

Chris - Blueberries in yogurt and cereal sounds delicious! I am glad that you were able to get your channels back. That is weird that they wouldn't have been renewed at the same time as the other channels.

Julie - Hope it cools it off for you soon.



My weekend was busy and the days felt really long. 3 day swim meet on the other side of town. It was at the CISD natatorium in Shenadoah. Traffic was insane! Especially the day with the overturned tanker truck on I-45. And one of the days our session of the meet was delayed. We were gone like 9 hours each day.

Mel - I got plenty of food. I actually coincidentally saw my parents at the grocery store today!

Mel - sounds like the repairs on your car are moving right along.

Amy - I guess I had to reselect them online, and they didn't just carry over from before despite it being a renewal. Those were really long days at the swim meets! Do you take along a lunch and a book or something to keep busy?

Norman - it's always nice to run into people we know at the store.

It's been really hazy here and we've had air advisory warnings up the past couple of days due to smoke from the forest fires up north. Those are a long ways from us and it's hard to believe that they affect our weather.
