I’m off to enjoy my free birthday coffee from Starbucks. I also have a free one from Dutch Brothers. I’m going out to lunch with friends today. Then this evening birthday plans with my sis. Seeing my other sister and siblings later this week.

Right now I’m sitting in my car in the Walmart parking lot because we have a shelter in place. Tornado!

Mel - Happy birthday!! Sounds like you had a wonderful birthday! So glad you were able to get together with friends and members of your family to celebrate We had a severe weather warning here as well but luckily for us we only got some lightening. Hope no tornadoes actually touched down. They are scary!

Amy - I did, thanks. I find a lingering cough doesn't clear up until the summer weather comes.

Norman - fettuccini is yummy! Although it's something I prefer as a side dish than as a main dish.

I've got a couple of things I want from Amazon. Hubby asked me to hold off because he wanted to add something. That was two days ago. Going to have to motivate him to make a decision today because I'm placing the order tonight.

I love fish and chips. I live by the sea so there are several places where I can buy that.

I did get a lot of work done at my allotment, Mel. It's a very busy time at the moment because the plants are growing and needing to be transferred from my greenhouse to outside or transferred to bigger pots.

I'm glad you enjoyed the dinner, Mel. I hope the tornado wasn't too severe.

Amy, Julie, and Chris - I don’t think a tornado actually touched down but there was a close call and some definite damage in Conroe. There were deaths and an injury in a house that was being constructed in a neighborhood in Conroe.

I had a car wreck this morning. :splat: No injuries and no damage to the other car(s) but my front end is smashed up: So I’m dealing with this today. First ever in my life. Not fun.

Mel - yikes! At least you're not injured. I can imagine that would be a very traumatic experience. Good luck getting everything sorted out and dealing with the insurance.

Thanks Julie and Chris. Yes the important thing is no injuries or anything. I was on the phone with my insurance company yesterday and got everything set up at a collision place. Got an update this morning they will have to wait on parts before getting started in repairs. And OMG seeing the estimate of the repairs cost!!

That’s nice Norman. I have a friend who makes wax melts for those.
