Went to the store yesterday and they were offering a $10 gift card if you spent $50. I easily got to the $50 stocking up on some sale items. The cashier offered to apply the gift card to my purchase, except he put in a $1,000 credit instead of $10. We both gaped at the credit balance for a bit before he figured out his mistake and got it corrected.

Norman - that sounds like a nice aroma. I try to avoid scented candles with food smells because they make me hungry.

The town had a hazardous waste drop off today for stuff like batteries, pharmaceuticals, used motor oil, empty paint cans .... waited in line 50 minutes to drop our stuff off. They had lots of volunteers to take the waste, so obviously a lot of people were taking advantage of it.

I went to my allotment this morning to water my plants. Now I am watching French Open tennis and I will watch Monaco F1 Grand Prix.

Norman - it's always nice to get out for a walk. I meant to do so yesterday, but got caught up with housework instead. Maybe I'll go today.

Julie - I prefer to water in the mornings too, although sometimes it doesn't get done until after supper. I'll need to harvest my rhubarb soon.

Mel - how is your weekend going?

I have a grocery order to pick up this morning.

Chris - No not yet. I just know parts are needed first before they can tell me that. But no word on how long the parts getting here will take. I hope not long.

That’s nice Norman. I’m trying to do that more.

My mom took me grocery shopping yesterday since I don’t have a car right now. She also treated me to lunch.

Today she’s picking me up in a while and we’re going across town to my brothers house to spend time. We’re going to spend the night. Then Monday morning we will see my other brother and his family. And then we’re having lunch with my uncles. After that she’s going to bring me back home.

We are taking my oldest son to camp today so I will be spending hours in the car.

I had Mexican food for lunch and brought half of it home so yay for leftovers.

I had a nice time with my brother, his wife, my niece, and my mom. Us girls went and saw Little Mermaid last night. My brother opted to stay home

Unfortunately I didn’t get to see my other brother and his family because my nephew was running a fever. But I got extra time with my niece and the family today. We met two of my uncles for lunch and had Mexican food. My mom dropped me off at home a bit ago.
