Saturday seems to be a take out day for me lately I had some spicy mac and cheese for lunch

Its rainy out so it puts me in the mood to watch a “cozy” movie, in my case that means a creepy classic… the one about the babysitter who gets the call from inside the house “have you checked the children?”

I watched the beginning of the Tour Of Britain cycle race because it was local to me so that was exciting.

Julie - that's cool. Did you see any of it in person?

we had some very severe weather yesterday. There was a tornado watch and it absolutely poured rain with some hail mixed in. In the midst of that, my neighbour was out covering his car with towels and blankets! He must have experienced hail damage before.

Yikes! I’ve been in a tornado warning once in the middle of the night, we had to go into the basement! (And coincidentally, I was on a trip to attend a Judy Garland/Oz festival.)

I hardly slept at all last night because of my arm being sore and itchy. I'm going to get it checked out.

It's overcast and humid here.

My sting got infected. I'm on antibiotics now and it's feeling much better.

Yesterday was really windy here, and not so hot. Overall a nice fall day.

Not much going on here. Will probably go visit mom this afternoon.

I had a decent visit with mom. She has dementia, so some days it's really hard. Yesterday she did try to engage with me and seemed to enjoy the company.

This week we need to see about getting some topsoil in to back fill where the trees were in the front yard.
