Congratulations to your family on the new member, Chris!
 Good news to hear!! Glad baby and mom are fine!!I was the firstborn child so I had a lot of pics taken of me, problem is my baby photos were published into slides so who these days have a slide projector to look at them. Or a film projector for the home movies for that matter  Well, it smells like smoke in the air outside here. I guess our new annual summer forest fire smoky skies have arrived for 2021. __________________

My parents used to have slides. I don't know what happened to them. As Leanne said, setting up a slide projector was a hassle.

Parents are hosting a goodbye party tomorrow for drop in people to come in and I’m refusing to participate since I feel its still not that safe to hold “parties” like that. I hope no one gets sick from that tomorrow!
Yum, love tomatoes and cucumbers in the summer! Finally its overcast and may rain tonight and tomorrow, that will be the first time since June 15 for us! I thought it was Friday last night, that’s how it is for me in the summer without a job or schedule __________________

Julie - enjoy your cucumbers! I've been making a salad by slicing them, then dressing them with sour cream, dill weed and pepper.
Leanne - like you, I'm still wary of large gatherings. If I knew only fully vaccinated people would be attending, then I might consider it. We're supposed to get thunderstorms today. __________________
