It's been a year since we lost Prince. I still can't believe he's gone. It's so hard to find good clips of him on YT, I actually think I might posted this same one yesterday. Oh well, it's an amazing performance. Side note- George Harrison's son is on the acoustic guitar standing next to Tom Petty, looks like he's a clone of his father circa 1965.

And I'm begging To drag you down with me To kick the last nail in. I never got through 13 Reasons Why but I loved the soundtrack even more when this played...and it has been playing in my head for weeks.

Never seen Friday Night Lights but just noticed they have the same school colors & mascot as Degrassi.

I need to get back to FNL! Tristan/Miles/Lola reminded me a bit of Jason/Lyla/Riggins.

My high school colors were also blue and yellow. Mascot was a bobcat so very similar.

Another gut punch death. One that I imagine has hit my fellow Joe's hometown particularly hard. I saw someone suggest that Eddie Vefferr should be wrapped in bubble wrap, and sadly that isn't all that ludicrous a suggestion.

SOME highlights from the brilliant Chris Cornell. Sigh.

That was tough. And now the singer from Linkin Park. There was a relation between him and Chris, yeah? And it happened on his bday. Heartbreaking...all of it.

Hello, everyone! I thought I would join you here.

^ I was so shocked to hear about Chris Cornell. Now Chester Bennington is gone too soon. It breaks my heart when celebrities die so young.

Hello! Please stick around.

Even though I wasn't a big Linkin Park fun, losing Chester was another gut punch. I heard he left six kids behind. Just way too sad all the way around.

And yeah he and Chris were friends. Chester sang Hallelujah at Chris's memorial service.

Out of all this sadness, this video, recorded in Toronto a few days after Chris's death warmed my heart. All genders, ages, races, body shapes, etc just singing their heart out.

^ I'm going to try.

I loved some of their songs, especially "Breaking the Habit". Even if you aren't a fan of Linkin Park, it's such a sad ending for someone so young. I read the same thing. I feel for all of the friends, family and fans that lost him.

I read that they were close. I didn't know specific details though, like the fact that Chester sang "Hallelujah" at Chris' memorial service. What a touching gesture.

That's such a beautiful tribute.

I remember Linkin Park growing up and was searching my mind for anyone I knew that might have been a fan. I can see a cousin of mine going to their shows.

I can't exactly be labelled as a fan, since I didn't follow the band like a true fan. I only loved a few of their songs.

I can hear the Twin Peaks theme song. One of my neighbors. I haven't started the Showtime one yet.

I only saw the first season of the original. Will I have to see the other season and movie to follow this one? I guess you wouldn't know, but maybe someone here does.

Rest easy Sam.
