It reminded me of when Winona was on trial for the shoplifting. She would have dramatic reactions in court. I think it is just the way she is. Crazy. I love her. I'm so glad she is back (doing stuff like this).

One night I watched a bunch of those vids of kids trying foods from other countries. Hard to stop watching once you start.

I've turned into an old biddy and all I watch is Midsomer Murders.

My Dad loves that show. And I may have seen a few episodes my self.

So I may or may not have stood up and applauded when this happened last night. And as I look down at who's laying by my side I also know that the winner from last night will never place more than second in my own personal Best in Show.

Pretty much clueless when it comes to the Oscars so I'm not super passionate but happy for the winners, especially...

I went in for jury duty on Thursday, and thankfully I didn't get picked despite getting called into a court room at one point. To pass the time, they showed movies, one of which was The Intern with Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway. Both myself and another guy had concluded that we had actually seen the movie, but couldn't remember how it ended. So either it's not a very memorable movie, or I'm just old. Or both.

We lost J Geils this week, the namesake and guitarist of the J Geils Band. They had some big mainstream hits in the 80's, but spent most of their career playing a great bluesy bar rock sound. They have some fantastic live recordings. I would have loved to be able to see them live during that era.

IIRC, this is the fourth time I've gotten called in, yet to be picked for a trial. This last one would have been done in one day so I guess that would have been okay.

I can't believe all four of the original Ramones are gone. None of them would even be over 70 if they were still alive.

Hope you all had a good Easter. And everyone took advantage of the candy sales. I only bought 4 cadbury creme eggs and a bag of twix...they are small bars okay? And 4 seemed like a reasonable amount of eggs. Am I buying for family or do I just have PMS? 4 isn't too greedy.
