You're still having back problems, Claire? ugh, aging bodies aren't fun!! We are in that part of life it starts to somehow appear!

I always have trouble walking or running while on vacation and I'm starting to think maybe its the shoes I'm wearing, shoes speficially made for walking should help more?

I'm glad you are choosing to make the effort to run and walk outside, its more than I'm doing You have good motivation!!

I hope Theresa has fun with her parents and visit!

I'm done for right now. I've developed an obsession with Brooklyn Nine Nine, its not often I get to that level, its Aspie level interest which can be good or bad I don't think I've laughed so much at a show for YEARS. Plus I am in love with Rosa Diaz and her actress now. So I may be obsessed with her for a while too.

Oh well, we all need something to get us through the dark days of winter eh? ETA, oh rock on! Another school just donated pizzas for our lunch here. That beats my instant ramen I brought for lunch. This day is awesome.

Yes, Leanne it's a long slow process. It's been over a year since I started to do regular exercise to build up the muscles in my lower back, but I still need to be careful not to trigger a spasm of the muscles like I did last year. I'm more cautious since then. But I learnt the hard way you can't rush the process.

Yes good footwear is important if you're on your feet a lot. Also make sure they fit well, too.

I did some gardening today. I couldn't do anything recently because the lack of HGV drivers means our garden waste isn't being taken, but my parents in law just gave us some big bags so I can store it now. I swept the drive and cut the lawn.

No you can’t. I’m just amazed from my own experience that no one realizes how vital your spine is to simple everyday functioning. Once pain is there, it can actually alter almost every motion you make in living!

Are the pick up services low cause of pandemic or labour union stuff?

Today is a lazy Saturday. Just watching stuff on tv and doing mild clean up. I like opening up my windows for a bit of fresh after-rain fresh air!

Have you found any new shows or movies, lately?

The problem with lack of drivers is mainly down to Brexit, Leanne. We're not getting the foreign workers in like we used to. The pandemic has also caused a problem by delaying licences being issued. Also they aren't paid enough to encourage people to do the work. I think we were heavily reliant on workers from eastern European countries who would take less pay. Farming has been badly hit in the same way too. No one wants those types of jobs.

I've been watching quite a few new movies at the cinema. I really enjoyed the new Bond movie.

I want to see Dune. I heard its very visually beautiful, but I have no idea what the story is really about!

I haven't ever seen one Bond movie all the way through yet. Which Bond would you recommend? I only know Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan.

Last week, I was home most of the time. I tested for Covid but it was negative. But today, I still have a stomach ache and don't feel good but I have to go to work and not take any more sick days so I feel , but I'm just going slow!

My husband and kids went to see it.

I like both of those Bonds too. Be prepared for sexist attitudes if you watch old Bond movies though. I really like Goldeneye, I think that's my favourite.

I hope you feel better soon.

I've been feeling a bit run down recently. Too vague to be able to pinpoint why though.

Casino Royale was my favourite, partly because that's the first Bond I saw at the movies.

Goldeneye is pretty good too though

I'll have to check at least one out.. I think so far I've been missing a big cultural reference in pop culture of the whole Bond spy franchise! Then again, I've not been into Star Trek or Wars either much.

Today was a trunk or treat for the kids at work. I walked into work, looking at the cool Halloween displays parents set up for the kids, there was even a real pony to pet! I was shocked there was a pony but then I remembered this is a small school out in the country with farms so of course these families have horses or ponies to being to events It was so cute and small

All the kids and staff are in Halloween costumes so I'm seeing a pretty interesting looking group outside the window during recess

Is it the weather or winter bringing you down, Claire?

The nights drawing in certainly don't help, Leanne.

Pierce Brosnan was cool in that, Sam.

I think I'd be surprised to see a pony too!

My daughter has got a job, unfortunately it's in another town, so we keep having drive over to pick her up in the evenings.

I haven’t seen any James Bond, Star Trek, or Star Wars, so you’re not the only one

Claire, I guess getting a job where you live is harder to do when its a smaller community, eh?

Halloween was pretty good. I put on some Halloween Harry Potter video for ambiance but once the doorbell started ringing and the fireworks started going, I put on my noise canceling headphones on and tuned out.

Maybe I'll get some priced down chocolate.

Yes, there isn't much in this town. There are plenty of low paid jobs for teenagers around though.

That sounds noisy, Leanne.

I've seen all of those movies!

I got lots done today. Still annoyed about not being able to find stuff in shops, I couldn't find find bread today, so I had to go to a second supermarket.
