My arm’s feeling a bit sore at the moment after getting my second shot last night, but the good news is that I am now fully vaccinated!

Ok, so I was dumb and found out I have another week after this week before going back to work. How I missed that, I don’t know but its cool to find out you have 2 weeks still left then just one!
 Stewie, I actually do try to make sure no books are left crunched back in by students on the shelves for the whole summer cause I think how uncomfortable for the book it would be to be left in that position for 2 month.   Glad you are fully vaccinated now, Naomi. Yeah, sore arms are bearable then having the disease. I got the sore arm in the first shot, but no symptoms for the second one. Had a birthday party for my dad tonight and we had surprise guests drop in, some people my age that I haven’t seen in about 20 years! __________________

That’s awesome, enjoy your vacation
 And I had a sore arm both times, but otherwise no symptoms after my first shot, while I did feel a bit rundown and fluey last night. Much better today though  __________________

The symptoms are different for everyone I talk to....I think much of it is just chance, i.e. the current state of your immune system on that particular day.  __________________

Today was monumental! I got to eat Quaker Oat buttered flavoured grits for the first time since 2001!
Thanks to grits being a southern thing that doesn’t get put on grocery shelves up here! Finally got them off Amazon and yum, still taste preferential to me than oatmeal!  __________________

Today I went on a day trip with my mom to the small town where they filmed the “Uber Scully” conversation on the bench in front of the yellow building in “Home”
I showed her the screen capture of them from the show walking in front of it. Yum, there was a small library in the building so I went to look in it. Had some blueberry cheesecake gelato. That was my outdoor visit for this summer Back to work next week, so much schedule planning going on!! __________________

How’s September starting off?
I started work. I like the new place I’ll be working! Sometimes smaller is better! Tonight we had birthday cupcakes for my niece whose turning 13. They grow up way too fast! I’m looking forward to the weekend  __________________

Haha, my niece is 13 as well.
 So far no drama yet.....just a sweet little girl. Let's see how it goes from here. __________________

I have to work together with my co-workers for 3 days of the week and it’s ok. I don’t like having to try to look busy though if I’ve done most of what I’ve planned. Wednesday and Friday I get to work alone so I’ll live for those days!
Do you guys have to work with others or do you get to do your own thing? __________________
