That didn't fit her character imo, but the show definitely wasn't above writing characters OOC for drama.

It really didn't, and the show was bad with that. Like with the LP reunion in s6. It was OOC of Peyton to not be closed off by that point.

Things I've mentioned before, like Haley's tour, but also Clay almost destroying Nathan's career and them getting over it so fast, Taylor/Quinn's husband, things like Rachel's addiction and Haley's depression because they weren't handled properly.
