5.12 - "Hundred"
March 18, 2008 THE 100TH EPISODE OF ONE TREE HILL — On the very special 100th episode of “One Tree Hill,” it’s Lucas (Chad Michae Murray) and Lindsey’s (guest star Michaela McManus) wedding day and Peyton (Hilarie Burton) must choose whether to intervene or lose her true love forever. Nathan (James Lafferty) uses the occasion to attempt a reconciliation with Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti), and the recently paroled Dan (guest star Paul Johansson) shows up for the family reunion. Sophia Bush, Lee Norris and Antwon Tanner also star. I can't believe the 100th episode airs tonight.. I mean I still remember watching the Pilot the night it aired.. I'm so proud and happy that the show has made it to the 100th episode, it's such a huge accomplishment and it means so much to all the fans especially those of us who have been with the show since day 1, I can't wait to see it... Congrats OTH!!

Skills has been great this season!! Mr. Voice of Truth! And I agree...Jamie is adorable...so is Lily!! I hope they bring Karen, Andy, and Lily back to Tree Hill more often. That would be great

u n b e l i e v a b l e. I feel like that was a one-hour LP-athon. Hated all of B/P's exchanges, hated Brooke encouraging Peyton to go get Lucas, hated Peyton attending Lucas' wedding and moping and fantasizing, hated Skills being a dumbass, hated the 125653553321th flashback of the weakest moment in the series (it's you, peyton!), hated embarrassing LPisms (when you fixed my car you fixed my heart! it's me inside your head! people always leave! - omg gag me) and hated the contrivance of 'The Comet'. Lindsey and Lucas portrayed a more mature and realistic love imo and I would have been happy if it was them in the end. Run, Lindsey, run!
A landmark episode and Brooke has very little material. I loved her scene with Karen and admitting that she wants a child and she's never felt more alone. Sophia is so, so genuine as Brooke. NH made this episode and I think this is the first time in a LONG time that I felt like that. I've consistently loved Joy throughout the series and she has such wonderful and intense moments (even in NH scenes) that she steals scenes with Nathan and everyone around her. Since 2x13, I haven't felt anything from James but him and Joy elevated it tonight. The bar was set high and no one even thought of crossing it. They just broke my heart in the last 15 minutes. Don't care about Dan but why weren't Lilly and Karen around for the first 11 episodes? They bring such goodness to the show. |
