5.09 - "For Tonight You're Only Here To Know"

At the first Raven’s basketball game of the season, Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti), Brooke (Sophia Bush), Peyton (Hilarie Burton), Lindsey (guest star Michaela McManus) and Mia (guest star musician Kate Voegele) find themselves locked in the Tree Hill High library. Tensions run high as Peyton and Lindsey face off over Lucas (Chad Michael Murray). Brooke tries to stand up for her mother when her friends go on the attack. Haley plays mentor to Mia, who is experiencing the elation and disappointment of fame. Meanwhile, Mouth (Lee Norris), who is covering the game as his first official TV reporting assignment, struggles to find a story. Finally, Lucas and Nathan (James Lafferty) grapple with the decision to tell their loved ones about various indiscretions. Antwon Tanner also stars. Joe Davola directed the episode written by Mark Schwahn.

As a member of the Management Team, and as someone that has been a regular participant on the episode discussion threads since Season Five started, I'd like to remind you that this thread is an Episode Discussion Thread, and the main purpose of this thread is to discuss the episode that just aired. Please follow the Fan Forum, and One Tree Hill Board rules when posting here.

Most posters, moderators, and even members of the Management Team would prefer to not read a thread where people argue over characters and couples more than they discuss how the episode played out and what they liked and disliked about it, the plots, the character growth etc. Obviously some character dislike is going to come out in the discussions on these threads, and the past actions of characters may be discussed to a degree, but we think that an episode discussion thread should not be a place to argue about which character is better than another, unless it directly ties into the context of that episode. Furthermore, all the discussions must be done in a manner that follows the rules, and it must be done with respect and consideration for your fellow posters. Thanks in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter.

Wardrobe hates Haley - her clothing is TOO old, she's a mom and teacher yes, but she's not 40.

Brooke is amazing, her mom is a witch, but she is really trying to look at the best in her. I think I'm going to like the girl's interaction in the library. I already am.
